House was just great all around! Charming decorations and very clean. Had everything we needed. Thermostat was simple to use and A/C worked very well. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. Location was excellent for us - close to park, restaurants/shops and easy access to highways.Host Laura was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend trying to book this place if you're want a wonderful experience in a safe and quiet OKC neighborhood - I know I will next time I'm in the area!
The kids loved staying in a new place. It was nice and cozy. We liked spending time on the porch and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was wonderful and communicated wonderfully
We loved the house and had a wonderful time while we were in OKC. The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We definitely plan on staying here again!
Great little house, has everything you will need. House is in a great location. The neighbourhood was quiet and the host responded quickly to all questions. Will stay again if I’m in the area.
We enjoyed our time in the house. Very comfortable and nicely stocked with several nice amenities. Well located to get around the city and easy walk to the Paseo district for meals, etc.
The house was beautifully restored and in a delightful neighborhood perfectly located for us. The pictures really did not do it justice. Would definitely stay here again.
Conveniently located near Paseo district and several neighborhood parks. 2nd time to stay here and the host is very friendly and accomodating. I will be back!
Property was super nice. I will say the doors are hard to shut as they are older. But we made it work. It would have been nice to have an ottoman to put my feet up at night but that was workable. We felt safe and had a wonderful stay

This lovely home was every thing we needed plus extra touches that made our stay feel like home. It was conveniently located close to our family in OKC, to the nearby parks and close to restaurants and downtown. We will be back again!

It was a lovely property that was nicely decorated and had a cozy feeling from the moment we walked in the door. The owner made the effort to have all the extras and made us feel comfortable. I would definitely rent again next time we come to OKC!!
My wife and I spent a couple of nights, one day we used the house to work remotely for our jobs, and had a couple of personal events on either end of the stay. Great property and a convenient neighborhood for the downtown events we went to. Host was great at communicating with me.
Loved everything about this house! From the rotary phone to the mini fans next to each bed. The swing on the front porch was a great place for morning coffee. The layout gave everyone a place to get away from each other. Highly recommend.
We had a great stay in OKC!!! This home was very quaint, convenient and comfortable! We really loved staying in this home, and are planning to book here again on our next trip. Due to a storm, there was an issue with the internet, and the owners went above and beyond to resolve the situation as quickly as possible! They also gave us several nice recommendations for meals out nearby.
Thanks again Y’all!!
Had an amazing stay! This 100 yr old house has so much charm and the owners thought of everything! We hosted our grandson and his family for dinner one night. The other nights we wandered down to the Paseo art district and invented our own pub crawl! Had *beverages* at several bars/restaurants then wandered back to the house. So nice to have everything so close. Brunch at red rooster was fabulous. And we loved *the other door. Dinner at Paseo grill was amazing *get the Filet!!
We will return!

About the host
Hosted by Laura Ketcherside
I am the mother to 2 young men, a wife, and have owned my own salon for 30+ years. My husband and I enjoy sports, running, eating, and living life to the fullest.
Why they chose this property
My husband and I purchased this home in 2017 for our son to live in while attending OCU. I fell in love with the location and the craftsman style has been my heart since spending my childhood at my grandparents craftsman home. It definitely needed some work, but I knew it’s potential. After our son graduated and moved to Houston, it was time to get to work. During the process of bringing it back to its glory, we made the decision we didn’t want to sell, and wanted to share it with people visiting our little city. We love this home and hope others get the same joy staying here.
What makes this property unique
Beautiful neighborhood and a block from the gorgeous Edgemere park. Close to anywhere in the city you want to visit.
