Pictures don’t do this property justice. It was absolutely the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. We felt completely private, the view was out of this world, the house was clean and beautiful, and Kevin and Katharina were the most gracious and wonderful guides and hostess. Kevin took my family out to a Motu and snorkeling and taught us so many things about what we were seeing in the ocean. Katharina prepared for us the most delicious dinner that we ate outside on that beautiful beach. This was the most incredible stay our family has ever had. We loved every moment of it and we’re so sad to leave when we had to. Thank you so much!

This is a great place to stay on Raiatea with its own little beach. We liked the open concept and the property management is very accommodating. The beach isn’t the best for swimming due to lots of coral but we did enjoy kayaking to the nearby Motu where more swimming possibilities exist. The nearby restaurant that you can walk to, Fish & Blue, is a real treat.

The location of the property was the reason we booked this place. The bungalow was the perfect place for our visit to Raiatea. Johnny was very helpful. Thank you Johnny for making your bungalow available for visitors.

Good location for us while our boat was in the Raiatea Carenage boat yard. Really liked the pool. Benjamin was very flexible and helpful, working with us as our date changed. Good experience!

We stayed at this amazing property for 8 days and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy an authentic, comfortable and unique Polynesian experience. The House This property was built with love and to last. It really shows in the quality of materials, construction, furniture, garden etc. It was not only spotless on arrival, but had beautiful/fragrant flower arrangements throughout the home - something I would expect from a 5-star hotel, not a vacation rental. The kitchen is huge and set up for people that love to cook (which we did a lot, since the home is isolated from restaurants and such). The garden is meticulously kept by Teiki and has many fruit (coconut, papaya, guava, tamarind, mango). House is well stoked with towels and everything you need for a comfortable stay. AC works well, but it was great to have screen doors to guard against mosquitos, while enjoying the fresh Polynesian air. The Location Taha'a is one of the less well-known islands in FP and it's probably better this way. We had a tour of the island and, while there are many beautiful areas, this one is (with a view of Bora Bora and Raiatea) was one of the best according to our guide. It sits on 30 acres of private land and has one of the few beaches on the island. Good snorkeling is right outside the house, but you can also kayak to the reef or other bays. We rented a car for a day to do some shopping and go out for lunch, but were otherwise happy to stay and enjoy the isolation of the beautiful property. The Hospitality We didn't get a chance to meet the owners, but were greeted by their friend - Richard - an American who has been living in Tahaa for 40 years. Aside from interesting conversation, he provided us with great advise about activities on the island and was available to help with anything we needed. Having this kind of help made our stay even more special. All in all, one of best rentals we've ever stated in.

The property is beautiful, the home is beautiful. There was very low pressure in the shower and hot water was just luke warm the entire week. The drive to the home is a very rugged drive from the top of the mountain to the drive way. If it rains the terrain could be very dangerous. The linens smelled very musty and the wash machine is outside. There are a LOT of crabs on the property- especially down on the beach. You need a car as it is a great distance to anywhere. Overall we really enjoyed it and the view is spectacular.

We loved it! Be prepared for a few bugs at sundown - but we slept with the door open to the ocean and had no problems. Why go out to eat when you have a deck with this view?
