We spent 10 days at Casa Mona and loved every moment. We couldn't have picked a nicer spot for our romantic getaway. The house is gorgeous and very spacious with all the amenities provided. Our only regret was that we only had Fatima make us one meal. Next time we plan to take more advantage of her delicious cooking! We were only about a 5 minute walk to town but felt very secluded so we could enjoy the peace and quiet. Our favorite parts of the day were spent on the beautiful terraces enjoying a cocktail and listening to the waves. I have raved about this vacation since I returned to the states. If you're looking for a beautiful location, close to stores and a city, rent Casa Mona. You will love it!! Thank you to Monika and Mohamed for being such kind, gracious hosts, to Fatima for the delicious meal and keeping the place so clean and Paola, the stray dog, who looked out for us. I can't wait to book a return trip next year!!
We spend a fantastic week in this wonderful house. Trips to the mountain, surfing and visting the Souk in Agadir added to this special experience and I am very happy to have found this place where you feel so well taken care of. Pure pleasure !!
By entering Casa Mona you can feel you're welcome. This house is build and decorated by people who want to give its visitors a home-feeling. Close to the cost you can enjoy sun, water and quietness. It lies a 20 minutes walk from Taghazout. A small village, but you can buy anything you need. and last but not least, everyday Fatima prepears a delicious Maroccan meal!
My husband and I both surf and we decided to stay here for a week, which was heaven from start to finish. When we arrived late on the Saturday night Fatima, the cook & housekeeper, greeted us with traditional green mint tea and a feast!
The house is exactly as the photographs show and you really couldn't find better in this area. It is decorated in traditional Moroccan style and is simple and unpretentious. It oozes character and is a real gem for the discerning traveller.
We were happy to pay a little extra and have Fatima cook for us - she prepared delicious meals every day that even included a huge home baked cake - we struggled to finish :-)
Morocco as a country, is very different to Europe. The people are wonderful, but you do have to adapt to the culture. If you are open to new ways then you are sure to have a wonderful time here. For us, the best part of our trip was falling asleep listening to the sound of the waves lapping against the shore! You just couldn't beat it.
The homeowner, Monika, met us on our final day to ensure we were happy with our stay; the level of hospitality was second to none. If we visit Morocco again, we're coming here!
We stayed for a week in March. The house is obsolutley gorgeous.. Right on the beach ( as the pictures show) . It was so nice sitting out at night on our own balcony watching the waves.
Inside is far better than any where i have ever stayed in Agadir, Very clean and tidy and with every thing you could possible want. Towels, full cooking facilities, cutlery, spices etc . Very traditional and also so comfortable
We went with children aged 3 and 7 and whilst i was a lil worried about the rocks, they were perfectly safe. CHildren really didnt want to leave and neither did we.
If i could leave tomorrow and move to Morocco, I would buy this house.. It truley is fantastic
Will most def be going back :-)
