The perfect stay for a couple and their furry fam!
We were in town for a beautiful wedding at The Haven and were delighted to find this VRBO nearby. It’s cute, quaint and sits on a three-acre property ideal for walking the pups. We also found a cool pond store, a couple great antique malls, and a yarn store with fun and unique gifts. If we ever need it, we’d definitely stay there again!
This property is super charming and was PERFECT for our stay in the area. It was neat, tidy, comfortable and cozy. Owner is friendly and quick in responding to communication. Would definitely stay here again!
This place was adorable per my daughter in law and son! It was a nice stay before their real honeymoon in Spring! It was very clean and nicely decorated! When contacting for questions I, the mother of the son, got quick responses! Highly recommend this place!
The house is unique in a great way. Was impressed from the moment we walked in. Got there very late at night, but the house was nicely lit by string lights so could see clearly and the check in/access into the house was very accurate and easy. Spent time with family and did some fun things in Louisburg. Grandkids loved the backyard! Great place for antique lovers! Our trip got cut short, but looking forward to returning to this place in the future. Kenney was very helpful through the whole process. We definitely recommend it!
I'll be honest and say I didn't do my usual scouting of the area when I booked. However, it was a great place and location. There are a few restaurants near by to grab some delcious food. We had a great time with our fur babies. And a lot of places that are pet frie dly have a distinct pet ordor, this place does not. It's a cute house, lots of yard and very nice over all.
Charming rustic place on a quiet street. The tire swing provided lots of entertainment, loved the yard space. Deck was nice. Interior was quite dusty and there were a lot of spiders. A deep clean is needed, slight dog smell. The pull out couch mattress was very thin and not comfortable so I wouldn’t suggest using is as an adult couple.
Everything was great! I had mentioned that it was our anniversary and the owners left us a bottle of wine with a “Happy Anniversary” card. Above and beyond!
I unexpectedly became a care taker for a family member early in 2021 and needed a place for a retreat. This darling little home provided exactly what I hoped for - wide outdoor spaces, no interference from neighbors or other people, and lots of quiet time. The color palette is soothing, the home is clean and tidy, and aesthetically it's calming and inviting. The bed, sheets, and bedding were very comfortable. The only "wishes" I had were minuscule - some sugar in the kitchen and darker blinds on the east facing window in the bedroom. Even with curtains, the sun in the morning is blindingly bright and I was at this home to sleep and rest. The host was an awesome communicator and replied promptly. It was overall fantastic! This house is also extremely close to a grocery store and many antique/thrift opportunities.
This is such a peaceful place. We loved our stay! The bungalow is nicely designed with a mix of old and new. It was surprising how close we actually were to anything we needed,.
If you are seeking a rural setting where you can see the stars, and can drive to the big city in minutes, this is the place.
This is such a cozy spot! Extremely clean and fresh feel, including all bedding, towels, etc. The decor was charming. Our Australian shepherd seemed so happy being able to trot around with us outside while we make our way out west. A very peaceful and quiet atmosphere allowing for a great night’s sleep. Being able to see the starry sky was a great bonus. Can’t wait to stay here again!
This is a super cute house! It's small but very cozy. I loved the serene surroundings and the peacefulness. The huge yard has a picturesque tree with a tire swing. I couldn't help but go swing on it! All of the bedding, linens and towels were very clean and in great shape. It has a really nice claw foot bathtub and a separate shower. The owner, Kenney, was very kind and provided wonderful communication. We very much enjoyed our stay here!
