Vacation in luxury at "The Deckhouse," a brand new, 6400 sq. ft., palatial-estate Lakehouse at Lake Mac! Enjoy amazing golf course and lake views, with a spacious back yard and shared beach access. The Deckhouse is located on the south side of Lake McConaughy at Bayside golf course, overlooking hole #10. It's the perfect space for a large group of friends or family (sleeps 20 people) who want to relax and enjoy the very best of what Lake Mac has to offer!

House: 4300 sq. ft.
Garage: 2100 sq. ft. (YES, you read that correctly).
*Wheelchair Accessible!

Relax on our patio and enjoy an amazing view of the clubhouse and Lake Mac, overlooking hole #10!
-BBQ grill (propane provided)
-Fire pit (propane provided)
-Outdoor dining furniture
-The basement level also has its own spacious patio

PETS: NOT ALLOWED
We love pets, but unfortunately they are not allowed at our Deckhouse.
No doubt all of our guests will respect this. However, if you bring along your furry friend anyway (cameras are on the property), there will be a heavy fine. Thank you in advance for respecting our wishes and leaving your fur babies at home. :)

PARKING:
The property has ample parking featuring a 3 car garage and cement parking spaces to accommodate several vehicles. It also has a gravel area to park boats, jet ski's, golf carts, etc.

*Please note the incline of the parking to get to the top of the hill is somewhat steep, for that reason we do NOT allow any ATV's, campers or 5th wheelers on the property without prior authorization. Golf carts, jet ski's and boats are ok.

We had a great time staying at the Deckhouse. It was in perfect condition, extremely clean and had everything we needed! They have a very well supplied and organized kitchen, beds were comfy, each room had towels and everything we needed. Backyard and patio is gorgeous with amazing views of the lake. We all loved it!!!

Perfect Lake Trip at the Deckhouse

Fun time with the girls

This was the 2nd year we have met at the deckhouse for a long girls weekend with aunts and cousins. The house easily accommodates all 9 of us with plenty of beds, bathrooms and a large kitchen table. The view from the deck is perfect to witness beautiful sunrises over the lake. We are ready to book our trip again next year once we settle on a date.

Great Family Vacation Soot

We had our entire family (all 19 of us) and the bedroom/sleeping arrangements worked perfectly for our family with five couples plus 9 children. Every bedroom has a beautiful lake view. Everything we needed and more. And the garage, oh my. There was a thunderstorm while we were there and all five vehicles fit nicely in the garage. We hope to return:)

9th Annual Family Lake Mac Trip

This house was incredible! From the location, stunning views, cleanliness, and decor, the house was beautiful. It was stocked with more than you would need to be extra comfortable. We all slept very comfortable in individual beds. (The house could sleep 20 easily, we only ended up with 14 people.) The hosts were so hospitable and super easy to contact if needed. I would 100% book this property again! Thank you!

Amazing lake home!

Had everything we could have wanted! Close access to private beach, golf course, a ton of sleeping areas and bathrooms, amazing kitchen and a spectacular view! Great communication with owners and the gigantic garage was key as we were able to pull our cars all in during a potential hailstorm that evening/night. Loved our time together. We even had s’mores for the kids on the gas fire pit. Such a wonderful adventure. Thank you Charles & Chanielle!

Family Christmas 2023

This property was really great. My 3 yr old granddaughter told me it was awesome and she was right! It was a perfect fit for my family gathering of a brother and his family, sister and her daughter, as well as my family. The decorations for Christmas were perfect and made us all feel at home. The house had all amenities we could have needed. Wish the weather had been nicer the whole weekend as we would have loved spending more time on the deck looking out to the lake. If we have an opportunity in the future we will definitely see if this property is available.

Fantastic home, fantastic views!

This home is outstanding. Our whole family of nineteen stayed there for a family reunion at Lake Mac. The rooms fit our needs well and there are ample bathrooms. The living space is lovely and large enough to fit our crowd. We will definitely consider this home the next time we visit the lake!

The views of the lake from each room in the house was spectacular!

From the early morning sunrise to the full rainbows after the rain was spectacular. The Deckhouse is beautiful. The grass yard was fun for the kids to play on. The deck was great for family relaxing. The kitchen is very accommodating to serve the family. Nice quit location. Easy to get to.

Awesome get-a-way

Everything with this property was perfect for us. We had five families on a group vacation and we enjoyed the luxurious space and the proximity to the lake. We cooked in the kitchen, played games on the deck, and relaxed and enjoyed each other’s company at the beautiful property. Would recommend for a large group. Enjoy!
