Rustic Ridge a cabin close to hiking and skiing!

Welcome to Rustic Ridge!
We are near skiing and hiking, making us a true 4 season destination. This little cabin was originally constructed over the foundation of an old tobacco barn built in the 1940s. It was struck by lightning in the 1970's, where it unfortunately burnt down. The materials used in the remodeling of what we now call Rustic Ridge were reclaimed materials. Most of the planks and finish lumber are a mix of wormy chestnut, ash, and cherry wood. They were salvaged from an old farmhouse that was dismantled on our nearby property. With all new plumbing and electrical, you get all the safety and comfort of your own home. The house is equipped with heating and air conditioning. There is plenty of parking directly in front of the cottage, and parking is monitored by a security camera for your safety.

We are pet-friendly with a $35 fee. This allows One Pet, under 25lbs. Please bring bedding/crates needed for your furry friends!

Perfect Little Cottage for Two!

This rustic cottage has a wonderful reclaimed-wood interior and nice designer touches. It’s pretty and very clean. Though the road leading up to it runs past a saw mill and a blighted property, the cottage itself is nicely situated on a remote property further up. There’s no stove, but the grill and microwave were all we needed. We really enjoyed the fire pit. We loved the cottage and would stay there again!

We loved the out of the way cabin!

My boyfriend and I booked this cabin for a weekend away and thats what we got. We dont like to be around alot of people and this was a perfect mountain cabin with sounds of the creek running in the back yard. The home was very clean with everything we needed. It was also close to stores for anything we needed. We will for sure be going back very soon!

The cabin and property are quiet and relaxing. The inside of cabin is built with refurbished wood and countertop. The bed was a little uncomfortable but, my husband and I both have back issues. We loved the outside lighting all around the cabin. The only thing we both didn't like was no door on the bathroom. You could easily put a wooden or even a foldable door, something for a little privacy, other than that we would re-book this cabin.

Absolutely, gorgeous, peaceful and serene.

If you want a nice, quiet place to stay. This is it. The only sound you hear the whole stay. Is the water running of the creek that runs right next to the property in the back yard and the occasional coming and going of the gentleman who lives right next door. It is nothing less than picturesque. Very comfortable, quiet and perfectly, cozy for two. You canning ask for and could barely, get any better this little get away. Tucked up the side of a mountain. Truly, looking forward to visiting again.
