This is a place where wonderful things happen:) Here you will find something for the whole family. Watch the birds and fish, swing and enjoy nature, let the kids jump on a trampoline, play basketball. Relax and get refreshed.

Because this is a rural area, the cell phone reception is not so good in some areas of the house, especially downstairs. TV works well and texting works everywhere. WiFi is good.

We ask our guests to agree to our house rules and sign a Liability Waiver before checking in. There are outside security cameras for the property protection purposes only.

The house was very clean and comfortable. A charming farm style house in quite country setting. Lot of bedrooms to accommodate multiple families. The host was very gracious and let us check in early. We had a very positive experience and would strongly recommend staying here.

Wonderful for groups with kids

We stayed here as a group of friends with 8 adults and 6 young children. Both the inside and outside spaces were great for our group and helped make the time together special. The cooking, gathering, eating, and playing areas all worked well for our needs.

small family reunion

We had a great stay! The bathroom in the basement was such a bonus! Plenty of room for everyone to visit and for the kids to play. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room was large enough for games and visiting. We would stay here again!

Lovely place

Nice and clean. Accurate to listing. Spacious for our group. Things for the kids to do - air hockey, foosball, lots of books. Attentive host. Enjoyed our stay.

Great place for large Family

Great home for a large family to go, with lots of beds and bathrooms to us. Kitchen was big enough to have the whole Family to gather and prepare food and sit down eat together. Living room was a bit tight and not comfortable for a large group but there was plenty of other areas to hang out if you split up.

We loved our stay and all the things for kids to keep them entertained! Very large kitchen and there wasn’t anything I needed they didn’t offer! We brought coffee but ran out and they had some ! Fantastic House!

Reunion 4th of July

Hidden gem. House is spacious and VERY clean. Landlord was great and helpful. Hosted over 25 people on property for dinner. Inside was big with kitxhen and many places to sit outside. All family members was surprise anappreciated of this house. We had a blast.

Wonderful property

Very spacious, clean and cozy home with a beautiful kitchen equipped to handle lots of cooking and large gatherings. The yard is gorgeous with a koi fish pond and dozens of birds at the feeder. The house has everything you could possibly need and the host was helpful and responded quickly. We would definitely come back.

Perfect for family get togethers

I had a hard time finding a house in this area that had indoor games. This is a must in our family. It was raining the whole time so there was no going outside to play. The house was immaculate, we had everything we needed and it was roomy. The upstairs master bedroom is huge and has a wonderful sitting area where we (as grandparents) could go hang out when things got too noisy. The family had a wonderful time and no body was bored. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again. Thank you to our host!

Fun family weekend

Three generations (13 people total) of our family enjoyed getting together here. Ages ranged from 13 to 74. Everyone had a great time. We appreciated plenty of hot water for all the showers, lots of extra towels, laundry facilities, and the cleanliness of the house and property. We saw deer and squirrels and birds every day and loved feeding the koi. We drove a brief 20 minutes to experience three different beautiful waterfalls. The only thing I would have liked to know beforehand is that the “dining table” is the big beautiful countertop. I didn’t mind this at all, but sitting on stools is not as comfortable as sitting on chairs. When talking or playing games as a group, we squeezed 7 people onto the two couches, and four others sat on the folding chairs from the laundry room. One sat on the piano bench and then only one had to sit on the floor or stool. We’d enjoy staying here again and thank Elena very much for her hospitality!

We have folding tables and chairs, that are available upon request for the number of people that you need, not exceeding 16 people. Next time please ask me, I will be glad to help. Harassed and Spied Upon

I was very disappointed. My family and I came for 3 nights to attend my son's wedding. ? All the trash, recycle, and glass cans were full. I felt the host should have emptied these prior to our arrival. The host sent me almost a dozen texts during my son's wedding day including the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. She kept repeatedly asking me to be sure that I take her cans down the long driveway. I promptly responded and agreed to do so, yet she continued to text me and harass me about other minor housekeeping duties I needed to do. She was still texting me after 10 pm. ? She also spied on us with cameras which were not listed on the property description. This was a special weekend for me that was made less so by this constant badgering over concerns about her property, some due to her own failings. There was no regard for my time during this special day even though I told her I was at my son's wedding. I will never get this time back that she took from me. It has taken me months to write this as I am still so upset.

Beautiful Home

Beautifully updated home. Plenty of rooms for the entire extended family. Enough space that we did not have to be on top of each other. There was a gazebo, trampoline, fish pond, fire pit, 2 acres to explore - all of this kept the children occupied and entertained!

Great place for family reunion

We stayed here, a big group of cousins and our spouses and children. We went to Merwin Dam for a family reunion which was about 40 min away. Was nice to have a place to be all together. Lots of space for the kids to place as well at this house.

Little piece of Paradise just outside the city

This lovely property was exactly what we needed for our group of moms and kiddos. It’s near activities like berry picking and feels rural and private, but is also less than an hour from the center of Portland. We used it as a home base to explore the area. The house has a great kitchen for cooking for a group and the kids had a ton of fun running around outside, playing with board games, puzzles, and toys that are kept in the basement play space, and enjoying the perfect summer weather. Our host was accommodating and welcoming and we always had what we needed. This is a great place for a family or multi-family vacation.

Wonderful home

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful home. Very spacious organized and provided all the amenities needing for a family to stay. Our children had a fantastic time enjoying the exploration of the property feeding the fish and other sites to see surrounding the home. The homeowner was very easy to talk to you accommodating and answered all of our questions when needed. She responded in a timely manner and was very helpful. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great space for extended family gathering

We enjoyed staying here with our large extended family. It was nice having a gathering space both on the main floor and downstairs for various activities. There were times the parents wanted to have conversation with less interruption so we sent all the kids downstairs. The kids also took full advantage of the air hockey and Foosball games. It snowed while we were here, and the kids enjoyed the hillside for sledding! Many of us were entertained by the abundance of birds that visited the backyard feeders and made their homes in the berry brambles by the garden - Junkos, Towhees, Hummingbirds, and a Blue Jay...! Fun to watch right through the kitchen window or backporch sliding door. The kitchen was adequately stocked with basic pantry items and cookware. Plenty of towels and extra blankets for beds or laps. The decor created a farmhouse feel. There were a couple of unique birchbark paintings in the master suite that were really quite unique and beautiful! Communication with the host was easy and prompt. The 2 bathrooms in the home are on the main floor which means those sleeping downstairs (where several of the bedrooms are) have stairs to navigate at night if the restroom is needed. It was not an issue for us or any of our children, but would be something to consider if there were multiple guests with mobility concerns. Again, overall we had a fantastic stay. We would rent again and recommend this home for others.
