This property came into our program with guests that had stayed & booked previously, prior to new guest arrival. Unfortunately, prior guests did not report any of the issues mentioned. However, of course, we will easily be able to address them now. As point of clarification, the gun is a BB gun that was stored on a high shelf in closet. Funny Florida note, because of Iguanas are an invasive species and cause much damage, this is a mitigation tool. However, we agree it will need to be secured in an owner closet. We agree this is the "old Florida" style home and the pictures accurately represent it's style. For the door, the skeleton key for the Antique Stained Glass door ended up missing and owner and prior guests used side door. This is something being addressed as well, however, getting needed parts has been challenging based on its age & uniqueness. For Palmetto Rats -they are a species that live in Palm Trees in Florida, everyone has tools to try and mitigate this challenge. Additionally, this time of year (rainy & mating season), they are searching and more active. Once we were notified pest company that services was contacted and added systems to mitigate. As with older beach homes there may be challenges, however, the location and direct beach access with the views make this a value added property. The home is priced accordingly for age, location & condition.
