We spent a week in this lovely home in this amazing place in the mountains, with a superb view on the bay of Porto Vechio. The house is very nice, it was spotless clean and had everything we could posibly need. The owner was very kind and helpfull to us, thank you! Thanks for letting us stay in your beautifull house!

peaceful cottage with superb views

This small cottage in the small village of l'Ospedale is situated at the end of a private road in a forested area above the village. Despite there being buildings all around, they are spaced out on a steep hillside and you are not overlooked. The small cottage is typical stone built which probably helps keep it cool. Altitude also helps - it is a 25 minute drive up a good quality mountain road to reach the village from sea level in Porto Vecchio. The cooler air was very welcome but altitude does mean that sometimes the cottage is in or above the cloud while the coast basks in the sum. The cottage is well equipped but of modest size with a ktichen/lounge/diner, main double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and two further loft style bedrooms accessed by a steep wooden staircase. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped though lounge seating would be in short supply if there were five people - it has just a two person sofa. For most of the time of course, the high quality patio furniture will encourage visitors to be outside and there are dining chairs and spare space to use them in the lounge. The bathroom houses the washing machine and this makes it a bit of a tight fit for the toilet, wash basin and bath, but it does the job. The large patio gets sun all day long so the wind down awning is very useful to provide some shade. There are three restaurants and a small shop in the vicinity but for anything else it is a 30 minute or so trip to Porto Vecchio with many restaurants, supermarkets and out of town stores or a similar trip further into the mountains to Zonza with some restaurants and a modest supermarket. There was a minor inaccuracy with the listing on the UK site but our host Robert quickly sorted it out for us - he could not have been more helpful - but I suggest that future renters message Robert to check that their listing is accurate for what he provides in the cottage. We had a very enjoyable stay and thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Vue magique

Tout c'est très bien passé, la maison est très bien équipée, l'emplacement et la vue sont exceptionnels. Au calme absolu, avec des soirées fraîches, nos vacances se sont déroulées à merveille. Si je dois mettre un petit bémol, les chambres de l'étage sont très mansardées et conviennent seulement à des petits gabarits (moins de 170 cm).Je recommande absolument cette location !

Tolle Lage

Das Häuschen liegt in den Bergen mit einer großartiger Sicht auf die Bucht von Porto Vecchio. Leider sind das Schlafzimmer und das Bad sehr klein. Das Bad könnte eine kleine Auffrischung vertragen. Das Haus liegt auf ca. 900 m Höhe, dadurch war es oben recht kühl bis zu 8.° Unterschied, das war spürbar und wir hatten damit nicht gerechnet. Zum Einkaufen muss man nach Porto Vecchio, da der kleine Laden am Ort sehr seltsame Öffnungszeiten hat. Es gibt zwei Restaurants, die recht gut sind. Das war ein großer Lichtblick. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, so dass wir uns sehr gut selbst versorgen konnten. Fazit: wer die Berge mag und wandern will, ist dort gut aufgehoben. Für Ausflüge mit dem Auto ist der Weg jedesmal bis runter in‘s Tal einfach zu mühsam.

Entre Mer et Montagne

Superbe emplacement si vous souhaitez deambuler dans la montagne corse et sur les plages qui longent la cote jusqu a Bonifacio.De retour le soir vous appprecierez le calme, la fraicheur,et la vue sur le golfe de Porto Vecchio depuis la terrasse de la maison.Bref un petit bout de Corse ideal pour un sejour charmant.

Location agréable, au calme et bien située

Maison agréable et bien équipée avec vue magnifique sur le golfe de Porto Vecchio. Située entre mer et montagne, cela permet de très belles balades variées. Nous avons apprécié d’être en altitude (presque mille mètres), car plus frais le soir pour bien dormir. Propriétaires charmants et attentifs.

Sehr schönes Haus in sehr schöner Lage

Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum leben braucht (u.a. Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine). Die entsprechenden Reinigungsmittel wurden vom Vermieter bereits zur Verfügung gestellt. Es ist sogar ein Induktionskochfeld eingebaut! Ein großer Kühlschrank mit separatem Gefrierfach ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Der Blick von der großen Terrasse ist unbeschreiblich! Die Kommunikation mit Robert war unkompliziert. ,Da unsere Französischkenntnisse sehr überschaubar sind, hat sich Roberts Tochter angeboten, mit uns auf Englisch zu kommunizieren. Unsere Fragen wurden sehr schnell beantwortet. Man hatte das Gefühl, es ist immer jemand für uns erreichbar! Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Wie wunderbar! Es sind viele kleine Details, die unseren Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus so unvergesslich gemacht haben. So genossen wir die ruhige Lage des Hauses und die grandiose Aussicht von der Terrasse auf den Golf von Porto Vecchio und bei gutem Wetter sogar bis nach Sardinien. Die Nähe zu herrlichen Wandermöglichkeiten bedeutete weiteres Urlaubsglück: Wir waren z.B. auf dem Mare a Mare Sud unterwegs, haben die Hochebene von Coscione erkundet und natürlich etliche Pfade der Umgebung ausgekundschaftet (Punta di a Vacca Morta, Monte Calva, Punta di u Diamante, Trou de la Bombe und Promotoire, Piscia di Gallo, Bavella-Türme ...). Bis zu den nächsten Stränden ist es auch nicht weit (ca. 20 bis 30 Minuten Fahrzeit). Bonifacio ist in ca. 1 Stunde erreichbar. Ein gut funktionierendes WLAN war ein weiterer Pluspunkt der Unterkunft. Und vor allem ist Robert ein Vermieter, der sich wirklich kümmert und für alles sorgt. Das Badezimmer ist zwar etwas klein, aber funktional (und mit Waschmaschine, für die sogar Waschmittel bereitgestellt wird!). Die Schlafzimmer im OG sind für große Menschen wegen der niedrigen Deckenhöhe ein bisschen eine Herausforderung und für einen Großeinkauf muss man 20 Minuten nach Porto Vecchio oder nach Zonza fahren, aber das hat uns nicht gestört! In l’Ospédale selbst gibt es zwei Restaurants, die wir auch empfehlen können, und einen winzigen Lebensmittelladen mit interessanten Öffnungszeiten. Kurzum: Wir haben uns zu viert in diesem Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt und können einen Aufenthalt dort für alle Naturliebhaber, Wanderer und diejenigen, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen, nur empfehlen. Danke, Robert, für die Gastfreundschaft!

Vue sur la mer

une jolie maison, bien agencée qui nous fait sentir chez nous. Un propriétaire accueillant et chaleureux, attentif à nos besoins. Une vue magnifique sur la mer, Porto Vecchio et la Sardaigne, bref que du bonheur !

Havre de paix

La maison de Robert est très bien agencée. La grande terrasse offre une vue sublime sur la baie de Porto-Vecchio. La situation de la maison offre une multitude d'escapades extraordinaires. Côté montagne: canyoning et treck. Côté mer: plage de sable fin, mer turquoise. Sur les conseils de notre hôte, nous avons pu profiter de la rivière avec piscine naturelle. Robert a été à nos petits soins. Toujours disponible. Bref, nous recommandons à 1000% ! Merci, Robert.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir haben zu viert einen wunderschönen und sehr erholsamen Urlaub auf Korsika in Roberts Ferienhaus genossen. Wer die Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe mag, ist hier genau richtig. Der wunderschöne Ausblick auf das Mittelmeer und Sardinien ist grandios. Im Ferienhaus ist alles da, was eine Familie für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Neben wunderschönen Stränden, gibt es die Möglichkeit zu wandern und tolle Flusswanderungen in der Umgebung zu unternehmen. Eine Klimaanlage ist aufgrund der Lage des Ferienhauses nicht notwendig.

Traumblick

Kleines Haus aber alles da. Wir waren zu 6. und es hat gut gepasst. Bad und Toilette in einem Raum waren natürlich stark frequentiert. Die Terasse ist super, die Lage mitten im Wald traumhaft. Gut für Menschen, die gerne wandern und den weiten kurvigen Weg zum Meer nicht scheuen, denn das dauert einfach.

Ruhige Lage, tolle Aussicht

Nettes kleines Haus mit toller Aussicht und gut ausgestatteter Terrasse und in sehr ruhiger Lage. Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern ermöglichen ein Durchlüften und einen mückenfreien Schlaf. Auch ist durch die Lage und die Bauweise das Haus im Hochsommer angenehm, da es etwas kühler und weniger drückend ist, als an der Küste. Mit 5 Personen gut zu bewohnen, gutes WLAN (wichtig, wenn man mit 3 Teenagern reist) und auch sonst alles da, was man so braucht plus Extras (Espresso-Maschine, Spüli, Müllbeutel, Waschtabs etc.). Wir waren 2mal im Ort lecker Essen und haben uns unser Trinkwasser (Leitungswasser ist trinkbar, aber gechlort) aus einer der 3 Quellen am Wegesrand geholt. Viele Ausflugsziele (Strand, Städte, Sehenswürdigkeiten) sind mal in die eine oder andere Richtung gut zu erreichen. Wir würden wieder kommen. Merci beaucoup.

Un petit paradis !

Nous sommes restés une semaine dans cette adorable maison, bien équipée, à l'abri du bruit, des regards et des fortes chaleurs. Un bijou de simplicité, et une vue magnifique sur la baie de Porto Vecchio. Nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à partir car nous y étions vraiment bien. Robert est très sympathique et très arrangeant. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !

Magique !

Un villa exceptionnelle, pour 5 personnes, du premier au dernier jour. Superbe équipement général, literies au top et une terrasse offrant un vue panoramique extraordinaire dont on ne se lasse jamais. Ici règne le silence et parfois le chant des oiseaux, les températures sont agréables du matin au soir quand règne la canicule sur le bord de mer. 900 mètres d altitude, respirez le bon air ! A la croisée des chemins de randonnée et à 45 minutes du magnifique site de Bavella, sur le chemin du GR20. L accueil est hyper chaleureux; merci Robert pour votre gentilesse et votre attention. Séjour en tous points inoubliable. Magique !!!

Das Haus ist wunderschön. Genau wie auf den Photos. Der Vermieter eine Seele von Mensch, der sich wirklich kümmert. Wann immer er gebraucht wird ist er zur Stelle und war immer für uns erreichbar. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit wunderschönem Blick aufs Meer

Wir haben 2 wunderbare Wochen in diesem kleinen Häuschen verbracht. Es ist alles so, wie versprochen und auf den Bildern zu sehen. Das Haus ist richtig gut ausgestattet - wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Robert, unser charmanter und liebenswerter Vermieter, hat uns bei unserer Ankunft in Porto Vecchio empfangen und mitten in der Nacht den Weg zum Haus gezeigt - merci beaucoup! Das Haus liegt ca. 19 km von Porto Vecchio entfernt und es geht stetig bergauf auf ca. 900 Höhenmeter. Anfang September empfiehlt sich daher eine warme Jacke für die Abendstunden. Porto Vecchio, die naheliegenden Strände, Bonifacio - es gibt viele schöne Ziele - aber die Cascades de Piscia di Gallo - gerade mal 10 min. vom Haus entfernt - sollte man keinesfalls verpassen!! Semaine magnifique au cœur de la forêt d'Ospedale!

Nous avons passé une semaine magique, au cœur des montagnes avec nos enfants. Randonnées en montagne, canyoning, accro branche, vue sur mer, ... nous recommandons à 100%! Robert, notre hôte, est charmant et la maison parfaitement équipée et agréable.

Fantastischer Urlaub mit unglaublichem Blick auf Porto Vecchio ; Vacances fantastiques

Wir hatten einen unsagbar schönen Urlaub im Haus von Robert. Oberhalb von Porto Vecchio, ca. 30 min Fahrzeit entfernt, liegt das Haus zum einen mitten im Wald zum anderen aber am Hang mit einer fantatischen Terasse, von der aus man auf Porto Vecchio schauen und bei klarer Sicht sogar Sardinien sehen kann. Es ist wirklich sehr ruhig, von den Nachbarn bekommt man überhaupt nichts mit. Das Haus liegt auf ca. 1000m Höhe, dadurch ist es sicher 5 Grad kühler und es geht immer ein angenehmer leichter Wind, was gerade im August sehr angenehm war. Die Fotos stimmen exakt mit dem Haus überein, es ist sehr sauber und die Inneneinrichtung funktional aber kompett eingerichtet: ob Spüli, Salz , Öl, Waschmittel, oder Müllbeutel. Alles, was man in anderen Ferienhäusern extra besorgen oder mitbringen muß ist schon da. Wir waren mit unseren beiden Söhnen (8 und 10 Jahren) da, welche im 1. Stock in getrennten Zimmern schliefen, während wir im EG im Zimmer direkt zur Terasse schliefen. Man fährt etwa 20 min zur Balla Gumpe, 40min an den Strand von Palombaggia, 30min nach Porto Vecchio und 50min nach Bonifacio. und ca 40 min an das Bavella Masiv. Das läßt sich aber gut machen. Fazit: Wer es wirklich ruhig und etwas abgeschieden mag, den idealen Mittelweg zwischen Wandern, Strandurlaub und Städtereise sucht ist hier bei Robert sehr gut aufgehoben. Er ist ein sehr angenehmer unkomplizierter Eigentümer (wir waren 3 Stunden früher angereist, was überhaupt kein Problem darstellte und er sofort die Übergabe des Ferienhauses vorverlegte) , mit guten Restaurant Tipps, Weingutempfehlungen und auch Strandtipps. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und können die vorherigen sehr guten Bewertungen nur bestätigen. Merci pour le temps merveilleux dans votre maison fantastique et votre soutien chaleureux. C'était génial. Merci beaucoup!!!

Très bel endroit entre mer et montagne

Maison très agréable, avec tout les équipements nécessaires. Une vue à couper le souffle sur le golfe de Porto Vecchio. Le propriétaire est charmant et tres arrangeant. Location vivement recommandée si vous souhaitez etre au calme et profitez pleinement de la mer et de la montagne
