We purchased the house in February 2021. It was truly a dream come true!!
UPDATES IN 2022 --All new flooring, kitchen cabinets, granite countertops new stainless-steel appliances, updated bathrooms, hurricane windows throughout

COMING IN FALL OF 2022: NEW DECK BEACH SIDE WITH PERGOLA Queen Bed and Bunk Bed in 2nd bedroom instead of two bunk beds!
2024 SMALL DECK UNDER HOUSE WITH FAN, LIGHTS, 4 ADERONDACK CHAIRS

January 2026 New ceramic tile shower in 2nd bathroom!!!!

This house was perfect. Right on the beach. It had everything needed to cook and grill with. The views were amazing!!! Felt like we had our on private beach.

What an amazing property! The house sits closer to the beach than those around it so there are unobstructed views and it feels like you have your own private beach! The room with a queen bed and bunk beds was perfect for us because our young children want to sleep in the same room when we travel. The beach is quiet and the perfect spot for kids to have as much room as they want. This is a great option for families with young children (my 3 children are ages 5 and younger). The house itself has been nicely renovated and very cozy.

We really enjoyed our stay, Gail and Jack are wonderful host. We loved everything about the house. Our family enjoys spending time on the beach, and this was the perfect house and location for us. We definitely recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

We had the most amazing stay at this beach house! The location felt secluded and peaceful, almost like having our own private stretch of sand, yet it was still convenient with Walmart delivery and shops/restaurants just a short drive away. We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the deck watching the sunrise, and ending the day with breathtaking sunsets over the water. The beach was never crowded, which gave us plenty of space to relax, fish right from the shore, and let our little one play in the sand.The house itself was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel at home. We made so many wonderful memories. From building sandcastles and reeling in fish to taking peaceful family walks at sunset. This was the perfect getaway spot for rest, fun, and family time. We can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was truly perfect. Such a great home, phenomenal location and views! We spent probably 85% of our time on the deck, just soaking in every moment. Gail was such a pleasure to work with and this home is everything the listing says it is, and more! We’ll be back for sure!

Wow! What a home and a view!

We loved this house! It was perfect for our family. The views from the home and deck were amazing! We loved sitting under the pergola and enjoying the ocean view. House was clean and had everything we needed. Host was fantastic to communicate with. We were even lucky enough to see sea turtles hatch from their nest and make their way into the ocean. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

This property met every expectation we had and more. The pictures were current and it a beautiful home that is well taken care of. Nice deck plus had extras to use like chairs, canary and water toys.

Perfect House for Vacation

Couldn’t have asked for a better house for my family on our vacation. Right on the beach and has everything you could need. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys! We are so thankful to have found this home and can’t wait to return!

Great Beach House

The house was just as it was described and shown in the pictures. We were surprised at how closse this house was to the beach and water, it was just a few steps from the deck to the beach and water.

Beautiful place

Was a wonderful place to stay. House was exactly as pictured. Walked right on to beach. Houses next to us were set back. There is no public access from Gulf Winds so it made for an uncrowded beach. Awesome!

Relaxing stay

This was such a relaxing stay. With the house right on the beach I didn’t have to worry if I forgot something. It was a quick walk back. The house was just as described and very clean. I didn’t worry about a thing. Will be back!

Best experience in Fort Morgan

This is by far the best home we stayed at in the last 5 years of vacationing in Fort Morgan. The house is superb from the cleanliness of the home, the accommodations available for couples and families, location, etc. The list goes on and on. The host takes great pride in providing a great experience for their guests and has an attention for detail (something I truly value). Communication was top notch and felt if there was any issue (not that there was anything significant) we could easily reach out if we needed anything. I can't say enough about this place and how wonderful our experience was. We will definitely be back with our family of 5!

Absolutely perfect!

In the 40 years I've been visiting the gulf coast, this house is one of my all time favorites. Gail is a fantastic host and made sure we were taken care of the entire week. The house itself has a very comfortable layout, the deck is truly amazing (you will love walking out in the morning to an expansive view of the gulf), and it really felt like a home away from home... but literally on the beach. We didn't want to leave and hope to be back ASAP! Thanks Gail for an unforgettable week!

Perfect beach house!

We loved our stay at Surf’s Up! So close to the beach! Loved sitting on the deck watching sunrises and sunsets! Beautiful, fully furnished kitchen. All rooms were updated and very comfortable. Gail and Jack are gracious hosts! Excellent dinner at Jesse’s on the Bay (pricey but worth it). Very close to the Ferry. We enjoyed a ferry ride to Dauphin Island. Highly recommend this beach house.

Wonderful beachfront for a small family or group

Pros: Beach access is 10 steps away The beach is not crowded, sand is great The house is very comfortable and spacious. It's got everything you would need in kitchen, drip coffee pot (hidden in a cabinet) & a keurig, plenty of towels, washer/dryer, etc. Cons: Not much nearby - 10min+ drive to anything relevant No trash bags? Flies at the beach made it difficult to enjoy (October visit)

Favorite Place to Stay

We’ve been coming to Ft Morgan for years. This was our favorite house by far! Everything was perfect from the quality of cookware to the quality of the mattress. We will definitely be staying here each time we come down.

Simply Amazing

Everything about this property was great! The online listing is 100% spot on. Mrs. Gail has done an excellent job at stocking this house with everything you could possibly need. With 3 small kids it was amazing to be so close to the beach! We had a great trip.

Just Perfect

House was perfect for us (me, my husband, our 15-year old daughter and her two best friends.) Communication with the owner was seamless and helpful, and home was just lovely. (Cannot beat the incredible view!) We got home last night and are already planning our next trip!

So close to the beach!

The house was clean and well stocked with everything you would need. The views from the back deck were amazing and the house is only steps away from the beach which made for a perfect beach vacation for our family!
