Loved all the space for our large family. Having a nice room with a bathroom attached for 6 couples was perfect for us. We would like to start again sometime!
The house was beautiful and great. We had a great time with 13 of us guest. The Host was fantastic. What ever we needed he made sure it got delivered to us. The paved road to get there was a little rough but I'm sure they know the road need some maintenance with some of the possible flooding in some of the areas. Otherwise, everything was great. Thank you Nik for all your help!!!
So many bedrooms and bathrooms! Great layout for families and so many places to hide out for a few minutes. Easy to get to lake. Right in between many boat ramps to the lake and far enough yet close enough to town! Communication with owner was great and he didn’t even my scatter brained questions. Definitely would do it again.
This cabin was everything you could imagine! The local is private and created a private atmosphere for us. The cabin was extremely clean and equipped with all essential. OMG the beds were comfortable as heck!! The hot tub was easy to operate and made the back porch atmosphere one of a kind. The communication with the owner was on the spot! We will definitely book with them again!!!
I read all the reviews before booking the cabin. There was mention of the road to the cabin being rough. The way I see it, we were going to a cabin in the woods, so it didn't bother me. The cabin is amazing!! Clean, spacious, plenty of room for all 13 of us. Perfect getaway with all the perks of home. I loved spending mornings on the back deck drinking coffee. The only reason for not giving it a perfect score, was the highway traffic noise. Communication with/from Nik was helpful and he was quick to respond. I highly recommend Iron Horse Lodge! Thank you, Nik, for a great stay!!
The property was beautiful, inside and out. In the pictures of the cabin it should a decorated Christmas Tree so I was disappointed that there was no Christmas tree. Out of the 3 days we were there it rained 2, the 1 day it didn't we got to enjoy the outside. I didn't realize the cabin was just feet away from the mail highway so it was a little nosey at times and if your a light sleeper this cabin is not for you...FOOTSTEPS whether upstairs or downstairs were pretty loud. Despite the above comments we had a wonderful time.Thank you
Pretty nice place. Not sure why they can’t leave more hand towels/hand towels. There were 14 of us. Two to three per bathroom but only one hand towel in each bathroom. There’s no ice machine in the fridge and they only had 2 ice trays. It’s listed with coming with a starter pack of firewood wood. However, there was none there. When I emailed about it the reply was…”oh sorry it only was after October 15th” Had we known we could have taken some ourselves. Other than this it’s a nice place. Lots of road noise from 259 too.
Exactly as shown and described. Can’t wait to go back!
I was worried there wouldn’t be enough space, but the bedrooms are perfect and have everything you need, and have comfy king size beds and plenty of room. The only tiny thing was that the outdoor grill was really dirty, so we couldn’t use it, but I’m sure that was because prior guests didn’t clean it after use. Can’t really fault the owners on that one. Also, the fire pit was flooded, but nature is what it is. The kitchen had everything we needed. The teens had a blast playing pool and shuffleboard. I could go on, but I’ll just say it is exactly as it’s advertised, and even better! I kept thinking I’d love to bring the family back and spend our Christmas here! It was lovely, and all the local places were so different and awesome! Nik was quick with responses before and during our stay. Highly recommend!
This was a first-time trip for some of us to Broken Bow and it was all the better because of this cabin. This place had everything we needed and more. The hosts were very accommodating and made sure the place was ready for our arrival. I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a getaway that is far enough to hide out, but close enough to get to all the local fun spots!
This was our first family trip to the cabins. We had a great time and there was plenty space for the 14 of us. The cabin was nice and clean. However, some improvements are needed for the uncomfortable/high beds and the roads are terrible. If you own an SUV or truck that’s what is safer to drive. God forbids if it rains. My brothers SUV and my dad’s Lexus sedan was stuck in a rut. Also, for such a large group there needs to be larger and up to date cookware. There was not enough sitting space/chairs inside during meal times for us all to sit and eat together. The patio table is very nice but, 2 of the 4 chairs were broken. The television in the living area never would change channels. Overall, it was a great trip and plenty of memories were made.

Thanks for the constructive feedback Rajah! The recent heavy rains just prior to your trip certainly did make that road rough, we're working on getting this patched up. We'll get to work on improving the other areas you've mentioned as well. Glad to hear your family still had a great trip!
Great layout/floorplan for a large group. Lots of fun amenities included. Many private bedrooms. Nice finishes throughout. Great location. Check in and check out was easy. Plenty of parking. Awesome wrap around deck, etc.
Driveway needs to be graded, which was fully disclosed in the description by the owner, but it is pretty bad. House and bedding was mostly clean....with the exception of the floors, which were very much not clean.
Overall, a very good stay for us and a nice property. I would recommend it.
We enjoyed our stay. The property is well kept. Love that all the rooms have King beds. The kids enjoyed the pool table, shuffle board and playing outside. This was a great trip with 5 other families. Will definitely book again.
