The apartment is comfortable with excellent air conditioning. The location is also very good -- close to the beach and a subway station. Dmitry nicely provided me with a beach chair when I requested one. It would be even better with a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. It could also use a cutting board and corkscrew/bottle opener.

Great location, clean apartment, awesome owner!

The place is super clean and very spacious. Dimitri is nice and responsive. I would definitely recommend and stay there again. My kids enjoyed the beach while my mom and I appreciated the stores and restaurants near by. Great way to experience Brighton Beach. Subway is also super close if you want a quick trip to the city.

Had an excellent stay in New York. Many thanks to Dimitri for making our stay what it was. I doubt we will ever meet a nicer and more helpful host ever again. Picked us up from the airport, Ran through the flat and the local area and made sure we knew our way about before leaving us. Was easily contactable if needed and amazingly ran us back to the airport at 4:30 am. The flat was clean with lots of towels and spare blankets and pillows and the bed was huge and super comfortable. Im not one for reviews normally but was compelled to say thanks once again to our wonderful host.

Ein schöner Kurzurlaub in New York. Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Transfer vom und zum Flughafen hat sehr gut funktioniert. Wohnung war zweckmäßig eingerichtet und als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit völlig in Ordnung. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in New York würden wir wieder dort buchen.

Déçu de l’appartement

A notre arrivée, le propriétaire nous annonces que le logement de l’annonce que l’on a loué n’est pas disponible pour le moment. Il nous donne un autre appartement dans le même immeuble mais uniquement pour 3 nuits car celui-ci ne saura pas disponible après. Donc obligé de déménager nos affaire dans un autre appartement qui n’est toujours pas celui de l’annonce que l’on a loué. Et on y reste qu’une seule nuit. Cet appartement est vieux, sombre et sent mauvais. Enfin on peut s’installer dans notre appartement qui est libre. Mais malheureusement au bout d’une journée on a eu le droit à des invités surprises : des cafards !!!!! Il y en avait dans toutes les pièces de l’appartement. Impossible de rester dans cet appartement, donc obligé de déménager en catastrophe dans le 2ème appartement, de secouer toutes nos affaires car on a retrouver des cafards dans les tiroirs de nos vêtements. Bien sûr avant de quitter cet appartement, j’ai pris des photos pour envoyer au propriétaire, lui dire que l’on est déçu, que l’on souhaite un dédommagement pour les différents désagrément. Rien a été fait de la part du propriétaire mis à part de nous déposer à l’aéroport gratuitement. Cela mérite un remboursement plus important que le transfert. Pas normale de louer ses appartements et cela ne correspond pas à l’annonce de l’appartement que l’on a louez. Bien sûr nos galères ne s’arrête pas là, car dans l’appartement que l’on a prit en catastrophe n’est pas vraiment dans les normes, n’est pas propre, carrelage abîmé, tache d’humidité, sent mauvais, le sol n’est même pas droit à certains endroits... A plusieurs reprises des coupures de courant car l’appartement n’est pas dans les normes, que l’on ne peut rien brancher sans faire sauter le compteur. Très déçu de notre séjour, je ne recommande pas ce propriétaire.

Lovely Apartment

Stayed for two weeks and everything was as stated, the apartment was comfortable for the four us, anymore would have been a bit crowded. The location for us was great and only 5 mins walk to the metro and a bit further to the boardwalk, a safe area with plenty of deli shops, supermarkets and places to eat. Dimitry was a great host he picked us up from the airport and although we didn’t need him to often he was there to assist us if we needed to, prior to our arrival he was always quick to answer our concerns. If I go back to New York I would book with him again.

Quiet and convenient stay

Visiting New York for the first time was Amazing in itself. After a full day of entertainment and shuttling around, it was a nice place to come back to for rest and to recoup. The neighborhood was very quiet, and the accommodations were just what we needed.

Overall it was good. Dimitry was so good with us and extremely helpful. He even supplied us with beach towels when we went to the beach. The place was decent and plenty of bedrooms for everyone and we took full advantage of the kitchen.

we enjoyed very much. The apartment was clean, newly renovated and well equipped. The street outside was quiet. There were some shops nearby for all daily needs. The connection to Manhattan by train worked very well. When you are tired of sightseeing, the beach is just 10 min. away and Coney Island about 30 min. by foot. Dimitry is a very reliable owner who managed the transfer to and from the airport and showed us the essential shops in the surrounding. If we'll ever come back to NY, we would be happy to stay there again.

Practical, value-for-money stay with helpful owner

We stayed for four nights at this Brighton Beach property for my wife's 40th birthday treat. We took our two children aged nine and eleven. The property is located about forty minutes from Manhattan on the subway, with regular trains meaning this journey wasn't an issue. The area is safe and well-stocked with shops and take-aways, although lacking in restaurants. The owner, Dimitry, was happy to collect us from the airport and drop us back at the end of our stay - thank you, this was very helpful especially with the young ones!! I would recommend this property to anyone visiting New York who does not want to stay in the usual expensive city centre hotels.

Appartement au sud de Brooklyn idéal pour découvrir New-York

Nous avons passé une semaine à New-York. Cet appartement constitue un excellent point de chute pour découvrir la ville. On rejoint facilement Manhattan grâce au métro qui se trouve à 3 blocs du logement. Le quartier et les métro sont fréquents et sécurisés (même la nuit). L'appartement est propre et confortable avec une petite cuisine permettant de se faire à manger le soir après une bonne journée de visite. La plage est tout près. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et répondent toujours rapidement aux questions. A recommander.
