Great Getaway

The cabin was great, comfortable and very well appointed with the exception of no condiments, not even salt and pepper. Getting to the cabin was a little precarious due to the gravel roads and some steep climbs but after several trips in and out, the roads were no longer nerve racking. It was a very quiet cabin and area. We definitely would consider staying there again.

Exceeded expectations

We stayed here for a small get together with family members, and this property far exceeded our expectations. The decor was very tasteful and well themed for a cabin. There was everything for all ages. Our younger ones had a selection of clean toys to play with, and there were many books for adults or kids. Fireplaces warm either floor well. The kitchen was impressively stocked with more utensils and dishware to use than I've ever seen in previous cabin rentals. Ultimately it accommodated everyone very well and we were very happy with the care and detail that was put into the property. There was easily something for everyone already there! We would definitely stay again.

Thanksgiving getaway

We had a great time at this house. We always head for the mountains Thanksgiving week. This was close to multiple beautiful trails. It also provided a fully stocked kitchen for Thanksgiving dinner. The beds were comfortable and the house was very cozy. We enjoyed the foosball table downstairs.

Felt Like Home

We had a great stay at Maple Hill Cabin. The home was well stocked, clean, and simply decorated. The beds were great, the linens plush. We loved the decks, the view, the fireplace, and the games. Our one disappointment was the long grass in the yard - kept us from playing there with the kids and having a campfire. Should we return to the Lake Lure area, we will look into booking this cabin again!

Great View

The house is beautiful and the view is great. Very quiet, House was very clean and smelled clean. Saw deer. Loved the wrap around porch. Well stocked, books, games, movies. Very spacious. Grass needed cutting. But a great place to just relax and refresh.
