Just 20 minutes from Carcassonne, Caunes-Minervois is a historic village full of character, with narrow streets and a peaceful atmosphere. You’ll be right next to shops, restaurants, and amenities, all while enjoying the tranquility and relaxed pace of life in a typical Aude village. Caunes-Minervois charms visitors with its rich heritage and diverse landscapes. Don’t miss a visit to the magnificent Benedictine Abbey, an exploration of the pink marble quarries, or a wine testing at the Minervois wine cellar. Numerous hiking trails crisscross the surrounding hills, leading to the Notre-Dame du Cros nature site, just 5 km away. The tourist office also offers a bike rental service so you can explore the region at your own pace. This two-story village house features: _A living room with an open kitchen; Wi-Fi available in the living room, _A bathroom with a walk-in shower, _A separate toilet, _A laundry room with a washer and dryer, with space to store bikes. Upstairs: _A first bedroom with two 90-cm beds, opening onto the terrace, _A terrace with a traditional barbecue, _A small bedroom with a 90-cm bed, _A bedroom with a 140-cm bed and a private toilet, A community parking lot is located in front of the cottage. Central heating is available for an additional fee of 80€ per week or 40€ per weekend, to be paid directly to the owner.
