Beautiful Trausse, France Stay

Villa was perfect size for our group of 5. Easy access from Villa to scenic and daily trips such as Carcassonne, Narbonne, Terra Vinea. Muriel and Alain were very welcoming and helpful. There was a quaint grocery store across from the Villa that provided fresh bread, croissants and other small grocery items.

Great location helpful owner.

The gite was well equipped in an excellent village location. We much appreciated the welcome gifts from the owners and their helpfulness. The village shop was very useful and friendly and enjoyed for morning coffee and cake, croissants and bread.

Great long weekend away!

Beautifully presented house in the peaceful and picturesque village of Trausse-Minervois, also conveniently located within a short drive from Carcassone and Minerve. Nice pool and amenities. Wonderful hosts! See you soon again!

Excellent accommodation.

The villa has everything you need for a relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable holiday. It is comfortably furnished and all facilities are of a very high standard. The pool is ideal! The little grocery shop over the road stocks eveything you nèed but itt is only 30 minutes yo a hypermarket. I would thoroughly recommend this lovely place to stay.

Ideal

In a small village near Carcassonne this villa is an ideal base to explore the region. The villa is very comfortable with a nice pool for hot days. Several dining locations, dining room upstairs balcony or by the pool gives flexibility type. The only down side is the steep stairs.

Pretty villa in a authentic village

The house is nicely located and offers all amenities needed. Alain and Muriel are very friendly and relaxed hosts that make you feel welcome quickly. The furnishings of the house are complete and practical, but if you look for ultimate luxury, this isn‘t your destination. The kids as well as the adults loved the pool and the close by playground. A nice little „Epicerie“ just on the other side of the street offers daily dishes and organizes relaxed events on a regular basis. Overall a very nice stay - we might come back!

Great pool!

Loved the large pool and the outside areas for seating. The few minor issues regarding the property concerning a faulty loo and shower and access to either fi were dealt with swiftly by Alain. The welcome pack was lovely with delicious fig jam made by Muriel. However, the village is tiny. The restaurant/bar is only open on 3 evenings a week. One has to drive for everything. We enjoyed our week here but would seek a slightly larger village for our next trip.

A pleasant house in a nice residential village. Good amenities nearby.

This is a village house with enough room for a family or a group of friends. It is well equipped for home cooking but also close enough to eat at one of the many restaurants in the area. You will need a car. We loved having an epicerie across the road, where one gets fresh bread in the mornings, as well as coffee and some essential groceries. The pool is lovely! And the area around it allows many options for a meal - shade, sun, terrace etc. The bedding were adequate but could be improved. We could bathroom facilities a shelf in the shower for soap etc would be useful! But the owners did advise they’d arrange that! The hosts were very helpful with loads of info, brochures, a welcome basket with food generously stacked, thanks!

leuk huis , rustige omgeving

Het weer viel wat tegen , dus is het zwembad weinig gebruikt, inrichting keuken ok, in de badkamer waren er weinig opbergmogelijkheden, geen haken aan de muur voor iets op te hangen, in één kamer is het bed wel iets te smal voor een koppel, en de petanquebaan mocht iets beter aangelegd zijn, maar we hebben een goede tijd gehad en het is goed gelegen voor talrijke uitstapjes te doen

Maison bien entretenue dans un petit village paisible. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et l’annonce est parfaitement conforme à la réalité. Le jardin et la piscine est un véritable havre de paix, idéal pour se détendre après une journée de visite. Je recommande vivement cette maison pour un séjour reposant dans la région.

Zeer leuk verblijf

Mooi en zeer goed uitgerust huis met aparte badkamers voor elke kamer, prachtig zwembad, épicerie vlakbij voor de baguette ‘s ochtends en heel veel bezienswaardigheden en wandelingen in de omgeving. Hebben een hele leuke vakantie beleefd met deze locatie als uitvalsbasis om de streek te ontdekken.

A very nice villa in the heart of a little village

An impressive, well equipped property in the heart of the small village of Trausse. Unfortunately, as we went in October, we were not brave enough to venture into the large pool. There is a small épicerie opposite the villa for croissants in the morning and a very good restaurant about 200 metres away (which was only open 3 days a week during our stay, but this may have been owing to the time of year).

Séjour très confortable et reposant.

Très bon accueil et communication efficace. Maison très confortable, tout y est. Petite épicerie juste en face un gros plus, pains frais croissants excellents et même variété de fromages. Petit village sympathique à proximité de Carcassonne, Minerve, et même Narbonne et bord de mer à distance raisonnable. Nous avons adoré notre séjour !

Maison très agréable

Maison très agréable et confortable. 3 chambres avec salle de bain individuelle et climatisation. Plusieurs espaces extérieurs avec le jardin et la terrasse. Piscine confortable avec des enfants par la présence de marches et profondeur adaptée sur une partie de la piscine Maison située en plein centre de Trausse en face de l’épicerie qui vend pain et viennoiseries.

Super séjour dans une région magnifique

Super séjour dans une région magnifique. Superbe villa avec tout le confort nécessaire (climatisation, barbecue, lave-linge,...). Piscine très grande; terrain de tennis,basket et mini-foot à 50 mètres = idéal pour les enfants. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponibles. Je recommande vivement cette villa pour un séjour dans le Minervois.

Belles vacances

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Trausse, petit village tranquille du Minervois , belle région riche en visites historiques (Carcassonne, abbayes...). Connaisseurs en oenologie, nous avons goûté de très bons vins chez des viticulteurs toujours accueillants. La maison n'est pas très grande mais présente des espaces de vie variés appréciables pour y diner: loggia, terrasse de plain pied abritée, terrasse au bord de la belle piscine. La climatisation est un confort supplémentaire mais des volets seraient un plus (écologique) pour protéger les chambres du soleil du Sud. Bon souvenir.
