We had a slight issue when we checked in but I reached out to Simon and he remedied the problem immediately. His prompt resolution put us at ease and made our stay enjoyable. Would stay at one of his properties again.

Picked property based on location. It was exactly what we needed. It was more spacious than expected. Very clean and comfy. Kitchenette was perfect for breakfast at “home” every day. Did reach out to the property manager who was super responsive and helpful. Loved every minute of our stay.

Hybrid work

I am working hybrid these days, and my report location is by city hall. This property is in a great neighborhood within walking distance of my office. The space was cool, quiet, plenty of room, perfect fit for my needs. Very comfortable bedroom and bed. Hope to stay there again.

Good location, some limitations

Just a couple blocks from Rittenhouse Square. Noise from upstairs neighbors & everyone going through the building front door. The only window that opens is in the bathroom. Limited kitchenette. Dont bring a car!

Loved my stay!

Beautiful property, I will recommend to friends and stay again when in Philly. The property is as pictured, note only the bathroom sink as there is no stand alone kitchen. I've rated the cleanliness a 3/5 because there were only 2 body/face towels, no wash clothes had been supplied. The owner responded quickly to my concern, however I still had to supply my own. Also it appeared under the bed/nightstand had not been vacuumed. For dishes there were only 3 cups and some plasticware. All of these may be easily corrected.

Nice location

The space is bigger than I expected from the pictures. It's at ground level, right next to the door to the building, so minimal steps to get in. But you can hear people coming and going through the door. You can also hear the people in the unit above walking around, and every word of conversation in the room immediately about the bedroom. There is a beautiful leaded glass window in the living room, but the only window that opens is in the bathroom. That window opens into an alley, so the whole unit is pretty dark. There is no temperature control in the unit, but the owner was responsive to my request to raise the temperature a couple of degrees. The location is fantastic - beautiful area and I could walk everywhere!

Pretty average experience. There's only one sink and it's in the bathroom - so all of the plates and utensils are cleaned in the bathroom. The people staying upstairs were throwing a party one of the nights so it was very noisy. I also think it's misleading to put "parking available" on the listing because street parking is few and far between - expect to pay $45-50/night at the local lots. There was also a strange design flaw in the apartment, where a door between the living room and hallway to the bedroom/bathroom area could be closed and locked from the living room side. So, it would be possible to accidentally get trapped in the bedroom half of the apartment and need someone to come unlock the door. If you're someone prone to anxiety, it is a bit of an unsettling realization. Pros: very walk-able, bike shares close by, and an overall well-kept apartment. Cons: one sink, no on-site parking, poor noise cancellation from upstairs, and a weird hallway door that can trap you inside the apartment if you accidentally close it when it's locked.

The host lies. the property has no independent temperature control. This was not clear in the listing. The host says if the temperature is not ok just message through the VRBO app and he will adjust it. I did, he didn't. I did again, he didn't again. After 3 or 4 tries, it seemed to be turned off (the AC was BLASTING on what was a moderate spring day of 24 degrees). He then turned off the wifi so I couldn't message him anymore and had to text, incurring roaming costs. He kept saying he turned it off but it was not off. Then he lied and said, he would call a technician. Then it was off. Then later it was on again, blasting and freezing. Then he said, he couldn't adjust it, the people in the other unit had control? what? then he said he couldn't adjust it, because there were other guests. Then he said he could adjust it, but would only adjust it to 72 degrees (as it had been as low as 65, which where I come from is when we turn on the heat so it's back to 74). This was all a huge waste of my time and money and the worst part was the gaslighting and lies. so if you run hot, or happen to have packed a parka at the end of june, this is the place for you. Otherwise, the bathroom was extremely cramped and had no outlets and no hooks for towels except on the door which was nowhere near the sink or shower. The living room was larger than it is pictured. The bed was comfortable. you can hear everything like they are next to you in the apartment above you. The location is great.

Great historical location

This is an ideal location and property for walking to many lovely little restaurants, parks, shopping, museums and venues. The street is quiet- charming and very safe. Owner is very responsive to any needs. Great property for a single or couple who like to be out and about.
