Perfect little place. We thought the Carriage house was very comfortable. We looked up the history of the property and that was so cool. Easy check in and out and very clean.

Of course it is fun to stay in a home that belonged to the Washington family! The property is lovely and nicely updated! The location is amazing...just steps from Kings Street, the hub of activity, and the drive to Mount Vernon quick and easy. A huge plus is washer/dryer combo!! The downside is parking. A bit of a pain but a pain you'll gladly endure for the location! Would stay here again.

The toilet broke and the air purifier kept beeping every hour because it required a new filter or something.....also, the internet did not work.

Maureen - very unfortunate that I did not hear about any of these issues during the stay. It would have been very helpful for both of us to be able to address them. The cleaning team came across the handle that was broken and our guest have not had issues with the wifi since I installed the wireless 5G two years ago. Still trying to understand the beeping you referenced but has not arisen since and I have personally checked a dozen times but to no avail. It is our livelihood and we work incredibly hard to ensure that our guests are happy but we just need to be made aware and would not have been bothered or assigned fault. Just want to make things right. Very unfortunate.

Such a sweet property, especially with the history. Very convenient to great food, things to see and do. Every convenience needed on the property with a wonderful courtyard that makes it feel secluded, even in the middle of King St activity. Very easy to hop on the trolley to the Metro if you're wanting to see the sights in DC. Host is very responsive and helpful.

Just steps to delicious restaurants, adorable shops, and historic homes. Parking garages are very reasonable. (17 overnight) King Street was entertaining. About a 20 minute walk to Trader Joe’s to pick up snack, snacks, water, etc. Lower carriage house was perfect for my husband and I had everything we needed. Definitely recommend staying at this top-notch location. I will be recommending this place to friends.
