Everything about this rental was great! Elijah was very responsive to any messages. The house was clean and just what we needed to have Thanksgiving lunch with my aging father. My mom passed in August so being able to have a neutral location helped ease the emotions. Highly recommended this rental!

Perfect spot to stay for our son’s wedding week.

We stayed at this house the week of our son’s wedding at a nearby wedding venue. It was perfect. We were able to stage the food and drinks here, provide sleeping accommodations for several of the wedding party and enjoy the peace and quiet of the house during an otherwise pretty hectic week. The house was very comfortable and worked perfectly for us.

Best ever experience

First let me just start by saying if I could give this place more stars I would, this was the best stay and the most accommodating. Me and my family had storm damage to our house and we had to originally find a place to stay that would accept our dog for two weeks Elijah and Rebecca were very accommodating to our needs and it was very easy to book for 2 weeks then after 2 weeks of dealing with contractors not being on time we had to extend our stay for another week it was so simple to do and plus we were excited to stay for another week this place was so clean and secluded just a very much needed stay away. we were rroamfreely off in the country

Nice, quiet stay on a gorgeous treed, fenced lot. Our dog was able to run free around the fenced yard and she enjoyed her stay too!

Why they chose this property

Our co-host Cathy has been a Poetry/Terrell TX resident for several decades. The home has been masterfully maintained and modernized while capturing the essence of what it means to live in the country. Poetry/Terrell have grown significantly in recent years. Such growth has brought modern conveniences, including fiber internet, to the area. We love the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside, fresh air, and escape from the city, among many other things!

What makes this property unique

The home is a quintessential Texas countryside cottage, with sweeping pasture views. We recently replaced the entire HVAC system and offer guests a Nest thermostat with remote access. Additionally, we replaced the carpet in both bedrooms with premium ceramic tile. We have additional plans to continue improving the property, ensuring you have a memorable stay!
