You can experience the changing tides, the many bird species and beautiful sunsets on a mudflat hike.



Mandø is the pearl of the Wadden Sea. The island is approx. 8 km² in size and has a population of approx. 35. Tourists from all over the world visit the island all year round. The distance to the mainland is approx. 11 km, 6 km of which runs through the Wadden Sea. Remember to inform yourself about low and high tide. There is a bathing area to the west of the storm surge column. Mandø is part of the Wadden Sea National Park and a Unesco World Heritage Site.
