The loft in the country - cosiness & design

Directly adjacent to the landscape protection area, surrounded by apple trees and meadows, is a converted farmhouse in a wonderful quiet location 5 minutes from the town center of Wangen.
The old house was lovingly converted into a 2-storey apartment. The attic with a height of up to 5.5m was designed for a loft-like large open space with an open kitchen.
Including in the 1st Floor there are 3 bedrooms with a bathroom with shower and bath. Use of the sauna can be booked on site from May.
A parlor on the ground floor can also be rented if required.
Leisure activities: hiking, mountaineering, swimming, cycling, sailing, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, ski tours
Bregenz Festival
Due to the proximity to Lake Constance, the walking Elitzer See, the mountains for hiking, the floodlit trail in Niederwangen, the proximity to the Arlberg and the Hochgrat, nothing stands in the way of a relaxing holiday.

Wunderbar!

Beautiful location not far from Wangen by car or foot (nice walk!). Gorgeous views from the 3rd floor windows. 3-story apartment, just as described. We had everything we needed, and then some. Kitchen is very usable. Host was super easy to communicate with, and helped us have a grill party for family one evening. Highly recommend. My husband and our two adult children had a wonderful stay. A fine place also for younger children.

Der perfekte Ort für Erholung im Grünen

Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen und bietet innen und außen viel Platz. Wir haben uns an diesem Ort und mit den Vermietern als Nachbarn wahnsinnig wohl gefühlt.

Großzügige Loftwohnung/-haus auf dem Land

Toller heller, sehr hoher, großer Wohnraum mit offener Küche unter dem Dach. Trotz hohen Außentemperaturen nicht zu heiß, da gut gedämmt und quer zu lüften. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Uns fehlte eigentlich nur eine normale Kaffeemaschine (Filter zum aufgießen ist vorhanden. Die Schlafräume sind darunter in der 1. Etage. Stilisches Bad mit Begehbarer Dusche. 2. Toilette in der 2. Etage. Die Kleinstadt Wangen ist auch gut mit dem Fahrrad in 15 Minuten am Flüsschen entlang zu erreichen. Dort gibt es in der sehenswerten Altstadt nette kleine Geschäfte und viele Restaurants.

Zeit zum Innehalten

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in der großzügigen Ferienwohnung. Abschalten vom stressigen Alltag war unser Ziel - und es ist uns dank der optimalen Bedingungen, sei es wegen der netten Beherbergung oder wegen der ruhigen ortsnahen Lage in fast schon malerischer Natur, gelungen. Wir bedanken uns bei den Vermietern für die gute Zeit, empfehlen sie gerne weiter und kommen vielleicht noch einmal selbst auf sie zurück.

Ruhe, Kühe & Erholung pur

Wir haben auf Grund von COVID als Alternative zu einem Luxushotel in Oberbayern eine schöne Ferienwohnung im Allgäu gesucht - ruhig, möglichst ländlich, mit Blick und ein bisschen schick. Zufällig sind wir dann hier über das "Whitehouse" (eine große, top-rennovierte Bauerntenne) gestolpert und zufällig waren die paar Tage noch frei. Gebucht, hin und Erholung pur von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute. Alles war wunderschön, gemütlich und genau, das was wir gesucht hatten! Super Lage als Basis für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, tolle Wohnung mit Blick auf Wiesen und Felder, super eingerichtet, viel Platz und super nette Vermieter. Perfekte Herbsttage im Allgäu! Vielen Dank an Barbara & Thommy, dass sie das Whitehouse geschaffen haben! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Auszeit in liebevoll renoviertem, großzügigen Bauernhaus

Hatten entspannte, ruhige Tage in weiter Landschaft im einfallsreich renovierten, geräumigen Bauernhaus. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt, weil die Vermieter-Familie sehr freundlich ist und das Haus und seine Lage sehr schön sind. Es war ländlich, still, üppig grün - Wangen in Spaziernähe - also rundum ein erholsamer Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder!

Traumhafte Wohnung bei Wangen im Allgäu

Diese Wohnung ist ein Traum. Alles da, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gepflegt. Tolle Lage auf dem Land und doch in "Spazierdistanz" nach Wangen. Die Bilder versprechen nicht zu viel. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wunderschönes Haus in idyllischer Lage! Erholung pur!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt total genossen. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, bis ins letzte Detail. Wir haben uns von Anfang an so richtig wohlgefühlt. Das Trampolin vor dem Haus, die Kinderzimmer mit Spielsachen ausgestattet, die Liegestühle im Garten, einfach alles, was man zum Erholen braucht. Das absolute Highlight war für unsere Kids unter anderem auch der Elitzer See, der nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt ist. Dort konnte man ganz ohne Trubel baden und die Natur genießen. Was braucht man mehr. Auch mit dem Fahrrad kann man mit den Kids viele schöne Touren rund um Wangen machen. Es war ein total entspannter und erholsamer Urlaub. Und wer gerne Trubel mag.... der Bodensee, jede Menge Ausflugsziele, Wandermöglichkeiten sind ganz in der Nähe!!! Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub! Vielen Dank an Barbara und Thommy!

Traumhaus in Traumlage

Wir hatten einen tollen Wanderurlaub mit unseren drei Kindern in diesem wunderschön renovierten, alten Bauernhaus, das wir extrem gut gesäubert und gepflegt übernehmen konnten! Die Vermieter waren sehr, sehr freundlich und haben sich um alles -inkl. Anheizen der offenen Feuerstelle zum Grillen auf der angrenzenden Wiese- gekümmert! Das Rundum-Sorglos-Paket! Das Haus ist wunderschön inmitten von grünen Wiesen gelegen und es gibt 1000 tolle Ausflugsziele in der Nähe! Auch Spiele für die Kinder inkl.Trampolin standen bereit. Alles bestens - Keinerlei Kritik! Ausgesprochen nette Vermieter, gute Atmosphäre auf dem ganzen Grundstück, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus, hell mit wunderbaren Ausblicken, gemütlich und bequem, in herrlicher Umgebung (Badesee, auch für Kleinkinder geeignet, in Spaziergeh-Entfernung). Wunderschönes Domizil

Schöner hätten wir es nicht antreffen können. Das Haus ist extrem stilvoll eingerichtet, der Blick ist atemberaubend. Wir fühlten uns nicht willkommen

Das Anwesen liegt sehr schön, die Wohnung über 2 Geschosse ist gut ausgestattet und freundlich eingerichtet. Man muss aber wissen, dass die Vermieter direkt nebenan sind und auch deren Terrasse. Als Mieter sitzt man auf dem Präsentierteller. Wir hatten zu allem Überfluss den ganzen Tag den Lärm einer Baustelle des Vermieters um die Ohren. Darauf angesprochen, meinte die Hausherrin "wir würden ja auch kein Programm machen. Andere Gäste wären einfach unterwegs". So fühlten wir uns als Gäste nicht willkommen. Vor dem Haus gibt es nur einen Tisch mit einer unbequemen Bank und 2 Stühlen. Auf unsere Nachfrage nach evtl. Liegestühlen, hat man uns eine Decke angeboten. Die Küche bietet viel Geschirr, bedarf aber einer Wartung. Die Schranktüren fallen aus den Scharnieren und die Kochtöpfe und Pfannen sollten ausgetauscht werden, da sie sehr verkratzt sind. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern verlief leider insgesamt nicht positiv. Schade um das architektonisch schöne Objekt.

Eine Auszeit inmitten von grünen Wiesen.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung auf mehreren Etagen. Viel Platz, tip top ausgestattet und sauber. Absolut ruhig und idyllisch gelegen, dennoch ist man in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum von Wangen.

Tolle Unterkunft im Allgäu

Wir haben eine Woche in der Unterkunft von Thommy und Barbara verbracht und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Das Haus ist toll ausgestattet, zum Kochen und selbst zum Backen waren die notwendigen Utensilien vorhanden. Das Haus liegt außerhalb von Wangen, mitten in der Natur, am Ende einer Privatstraße. Vor dem Haus befindet sich eine Sitzgelegenheit für ein gemütliches Frühstück in der Sonne bei tollem Blick über die Felder und Wälder in der Umgebung. Die Bilder entsprechen 100% den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

beschauliche tage im allgäu

für eine woche tapetenwechsel vor der "haustüre" war das heim von tommy und barbara perfekt -, sehr angenehme und überaus wohnliche 4 wände, mit viel platz und ausreichend raum für unser kleines team (4 erwachsene), und wenn man die gute stube wirklich verlassen wollte - vor der haustüre fanden sich jede menge wege in die direkte natur, oder auch in das freundliche städtchen wangen. nochmals vielen dank für die schöne ferienwohnung und die unkomplizierte kontaktnahme. rüdiger

Perfect

We had an excellent weekend staying at Thommy & Barbara's apartment. It was a perfect set up for us as 5 adults and 1 baby. There was a really nice dinning / living room area which was great for the evenings and it was a nice walk into Wangen town centre where we visited the Christmas markets. It was the perfect place to spend a weekend away with friends. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous house in a beautiful setting.

What a great holiday! The property is beautiful, spacious and comfortable, set in a gorgeous location with amazing views across the Allgau meadows. The house is a recently restored old farmhouse with a wonderful light, modern interior, setting off many old fixtures and fittings, which works really well. It is set in the most beautiful, lush green rolling countryside, surrounded by dairy cows, in a very quiet, secluded and safe spot, yet is actually very close (walking distance) to all the amenities of Wangen and only a short drive to Lake Constance. Many other things to do and beautiful and interesting places to visit are within reasonable driving distance. Our hosts Thommy and Barbara (who live in the other side of the house) were always friendly and very helpful, and, fortunately for us, spoke excellent English! :-)
