It was cozy and made for a great home base. The neighborhood is fantastic and you have easy access to the subway, Central Park, and several museums. Brian is easy to reach and was always helpful.
I feel lucky to have found this wonderful condo. The neigborhood is perfect. Access to tranportation was convienient. It was very comfortable and I felt the price was fair. There is a backyard that helped us spread out a little. This is not a luxury hotel, but we were able to live like New Yorkers for a month. We really felt like we had an authentic experience.

Nothing Fancy, Great location, good property manager.
We stayed for five weeks, the apt. Has a very small bathroom and kitchen. although we enjoyed our time in the city we found that all the furniture in the living room was quite warn and very uncomfortable. The back yard was a mess with fallen tree branches, the table and chairs were quite dirty and we were unable to enjoy them. All the neighbors were extremely nice.
This place could be much better with new comfortable chairs in the living room. The bed was just ok.
Property manager (Brian) was very helpful and promptly responded to all our questions!
Property has what you need to stay there but desperately needs a furniture upgrade and a good
Cleanup in the backyard. Nothing fancy, great location!

Since Mary’s stay, we’ve replaced the two cloth chairs in the living room with a leather-like one.
For the yard, the prior VRBO guests left it a complete mess; it looked like they never cleaned anything and it needed to be power washed, which takes about six hours. This was offered to Mary but she declined and said she’d just put a towel over the chairs. Since her stay, it was power washed and re-mulched. To prevent future disappointments, we’ve put in rules concerning maintaining the yard.
The initial impression my wife and I had of the apartment was better than we had expected. Some of the furniture had received an update which was nice, but the best part was all of the little details that the host had thought about. Things such as tissues everywhere you could want them, ample lighting, coasters, a wide variety of glassware options and well equipped kitchen, and so on. They're small things but they add up!
The apartment itself was great as well. It was very handy being on the bottom floor, and having the private backyard area was very nice. I didn't even know such a thing existed in the middle of Manhattan!
The surrounding neighborhood was fantastic for a long stay. It was quiet, and we felt safe walking around even late at night. There's a police station just across Columbus Avenue that probably helps. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars all within walking distance so you can easily get anything you might need. There's even a great little coffee shop just around the corner, less than a minute's walk away!
The host/property manager was very responsive, always responding pretty quickly any time we reached out. We didn't have much to contact him about but the few times we did he was readily available. I also appreciate that he reached out to check in a few times, such as checking if we'd need the A/C unit set up when the weather got particularly warm.
Overall, the apartment was a wonderful place to call home for a month! We would love to stay here again on a future visit to NYC.
