Welcome to Le Miral, a character-filled home dating back to 1750, located in Criquebeuf-sur-Seine, Normandy. Built with exposed stonework and enhanced by brushed white beams, this house is a true ode to a slower pace of life, the shifting light, and the water’s reflections that once inspired J.M.W. Turner. Every space blends the authenticity of Norman heritage with the comfort of high-end contemporary amenities.

Nestled in a quiet lane within an authentic Norman village, the house is just 50 meters from the tree-lined banks of the Eure River—perfect for leisurely walks. Its location is also strategic: 4 minutes from the A13 motorway, one hour from Paris, and right next to the Val-de-Reuil business hub (home to Sanofi and numerous cutting-edge companies).

Spanning three levels, the house accommodates up to 10 guests. The ground floor features a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, etc.), a cozy living room, an inviting dining area, a separate toilet, and a laundry room with a washing machine.

The first floor houses the "Les Songes" bedroom, bathed in dawn light, and "L'Irisée," distinguished by a spectacular colored glass-block partition that casts a prism of light throughout the day, along with a shower room and a separate toilet. A half-level up lies "Le Miral," the signature bedroom featuring deep blue hues inspired by the waters of the Seine.

The second floor hosts two bedrooms: "Les Marées," with its natural materials and soothing ambiance, and "La Vigie"—a true rooftop cocoon featuring a narrower access point, a bamboo bed, and an atmosphere perfect for quiet contemplation—along with a bathroom and a separate toilet. Outside, enjoy a fully enclosed private garden—perfect for sharing a meal, relaxing, or letting the children play safely.

You can park your vehicle for free at the end of the lane. While the parking space is not reserved exclusively for you, there is usually plenty of room! More than just a place to stay, this house invites you to enjoy an authentic experience where the charm of old stonework, the gentle beauty of the Normandy landscape, and modern comfort combine to create unforgettable memories.

Bed linen and towels are provided for your comfort. A private parking space is available with the accommodation; however, you may also park on nearby streets subject to local village parking rates. The property is managed by the concierge service "l’ArchiDuchesse," reachable 7 days a week from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We kindly ask you to take care of the property and respect both the premises and the neighbors. To this end, a credit card pre-authorization will be required via a secure link to finalize your booking and provide you with the access codes.

## Getting Around

Criquebeuf-sur-Seine, although small in size, is a well-connected and accessible village thanks to various modes of transport. Here is a guide to getting around in and around the town:

1. On foot or by bike:
The town centre is compact and easy to explore on foot. The main amenities (shops, schools, public services) are all close to one another.
Cycling facilities: Although cycle paths are still being developed, many streets are quiet and suitable for cyclists. It is a practical and eco-friendly way to get around locally.
Walking: For walking enthusiasts, the town is surrounded by footpaths that allow you to explore the countryside of the Pays de Caux.

2. By car:
Parking: Parking is generally free within the town.

Main roads:
Criquebeuf-sur-Seine is very easily accessible via the A13 (Paris – Rouen – Caen), taking exit 20. The town is situated about 20 minutes from Rouen and about 1 hour 15 minutes from Paris.
Local roads provide easy access to the surrounding villages.
Car hire: Several local agencies offer car hire services for those without a car.

3. By public transport:

Train:
Oissel SNCF station is the nearest (5 km): Located in the town centre, it is a major hub for regional and national journeys.
Paris–Le Havre line: With stops at Rouen, Le Havre and other major towns.
Direct trains to Paris take around 1 hour 25 minutes, making it convenient for commuters or day trips.

4. By taxi or private hire car:
Several taxi companies operate in Criquebeuf-sur-Seine, and it is possible to book private hire cars via apps such as Uber or other local platforms.

5. By carpool:
Criquebeuf-sur-Seine has a carpool area, open 24 hours a day. It is an economical and sociable option for inter-city journeys.

Check-in is self-service for greater flexibility. Check-in begins at 4.00 pm and check-out must be completed by 11.00 am at the latest.

Accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10.00 am to 9.00 pm). In the house, all our guests are provided with bed linen, essential toiletries for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand wash, toilet paper, etc.), as well as one large towel per person, along with tea towels and a bath mat for each bathroom. A welcome kit containing a kitchen bin bag, a bathroom bin bag, a sponge and washing-up liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.

We are committed to providing a pleasant experience; however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Any mid-stay cleaning, changing of bed linen or towels, restocking of essential toiletries, or deliveries can be arranged on request at an additional cost. When staying in a holiday let, it’s also important to follow a few rules to ensure everything runs smoothly and to avoid any surprises with your security deposit! Please treat the property as if it were your own: avoid causing damage, take care of the furniture and leave the place clean when you leave. Follow the guidelines regarding opening hours and the use of facilities, and respect the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. And if any minor issues arise, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Please remember that parties are strictly prohibited (€250 will be deducted from the deposit), that the property is entirely non-smoking (€200 will be deducted from the deposit), that pets are not allowed (€100 will be deducted from the deposit) unless we have been asked in advance and have given our consent, and that any loss, theft or damage will be charged at the actual replacement value. ​​
