Large apartment in a Black Forest house at the foot of the Feldberg

The small town of Menzenschwand, located at the southern foot of the Feldberg at almost 900 m, is a district of the city of St. 8 km away Blasien. It still has the charm of a quiet Black Forest village with many old houses. In summer, in addition to countless hiking trails and the many excursions to the surrounding lakes, nearby Switzerland and France, tennis players, mountain bikers and paragliders also find an attractive environment. In winter, 2 larger ski lifts and 1 beginners' ski lift attract many holidaymakers and guests in addition to the many cross-country trails and well-kept hiking trails up to the ski lifts on the highest mountain (1493 m) in the Black Forest. Guided tours (also with snowshoes) and other winter sports and events are offered.

A warm bath in the village with an outdoor pool, saunas, as well as radon and wellness offers can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.

Our apartment in the Bacmeister house is located in the Vorderdorf on the western outskirts of the village in a park-like garden plot of almost 4,000 square meters, bordering a stream in the west, the Menzenschwalder Alb. The direct access of the apartment on the ground floor to the huge garden is ideal for relaxing holidays for families with children.

The well furnished and cozy, 130 sqm apartment on the ground floor of the old Black Forest house can be accessed via a large terrace. A spacious entrance hall leads to the 25 sqm living room with TV, DVD, fireplace and comfortable seating. From here there are 3 bedrooms with up to 8 beds. In addition to the spacious, centrally located kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, there is also a room with a washing machine and dryer, a second toilet and a storage room. The 15 sqm bathroom is equipped with toilet, 2 wash stations, bath tub and shower.

There is a covered table tennis court at the house, there is seating and a grill on the terrace, and there is a swing, slide and sandpit in the garden. In the barn there is a trampoline, a soccer table and bicycles for free rental.

Haus Baumeister- Wonderful!

This was our third stay in this charming home in Menzenschwand. For us, it’s the only place we want to lodge. It has all the modern updating and conveniences, while retaining it’s old world charm. Kitchen is well equipped with everything one could possibly need and bathroom is modern and spacious. Bedrooms are large and beds are comfortable. The living room / dining area so comfortable and surrounded by windows to enjoy the view. Plenty of books, games to entertain when not enjoying the outdoors. Large garden to relax and serene Brook running at edge of property. We spent our late afternoons napping by the brook and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We will be returning next year, if not sooner!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts! Selbst bei sommerlicher Hitze ist es innen immer wunderbar kühl. Der Garten ist riesig und wunderschön. In der nahen Umgebung gibt es unglaublich viel zu entdecken und zu erleben. Einziger Mini- Nachteil: das Haus ist sehr hellhörig. Wenn in der oberen Wohnung eine Familie mit Kindern Urlaub macht, dann hört man das sehr deutlich. Uns hat das nicht gestört, weil wir Frühaufsteher sind. Alles in allem fünf Sterne für diese Wohnung, sie ist absolut top und eine der tollsten, in der wir jemals Urlaub gemacht haben! Vielen Dank!

Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gemütlich mit fröhlichen Details, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen ist.Das Bad ist großzügig und hat eine extra Lüftung, da das kleine Fenster in den Schopf geht.Die Küche ist im wahrsten Sinne das Herzstück des Hauses, nämlich mitten drin gelegen, die Fenster führen in den Flur. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Im Haus befinden sich insgesamt 4 Wohnungen, die verschiedenen Eigentümern gehören. Die Erdgeschosswohnung mit Zugang zum riesigen Garten bringt es mit sich, dass man Glück mit der Belegung/ den Gästen über einem haben muss, da es sehr hellhörig ist. Und der Garten wird von den oberen Wohnungen mitbenutzt.

Das Haus ist super ausgestattet! Das es sehr hellhörig ist, kann man dem Inserat entnehmen! Die Lage ist, insbesondere für Skianfänger oder Wiedereinsteiger optimal! Ein Rodelhang und eine Anfängerpiste sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Langlaufloipe sowieso!

Familienurlaub im Schwarzwald

Wir haben mit unseren drei Söhnen (18, 18, 13) zwei wunderschöne und erholsame Wochen im Haus Bacmeister verbracht - die gemütliche Wohnung, das herrliche Grundstück, die fantastisch ausgestattete Küche und die ruhige Lage sowie die vielen Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung haben alle zu einem sehr erholsamen Urlaub beigetragen. Das Haus ist zwar tatsächlich hellhörig, aber wir können es unbedingt weiterempfehlen!

Ruime woning in klein dorp

Positief; grote typisch woning, wat donker (bijna overal licht aansteken), maar ruim. Keuken en slaapkamer in orde. Badkamer geweldig. Grote tuin. Pingpongtafel en terras. Negatief; geen! zwembad en geen! tennisveld aan het huis. Wel verder weg ... en betalend. Onduidelijke afspraken met andere bewoners van bovenverdiepen (andere verhuurder). Gebruik van materiaal en terrasmeubels zorgt voor 'campinggevoel' en dat is niet waarvoor we boekten.

Tolle Wohnung im Schwarzwaldhaus

Wir hatten ein tolles langes Wochenende im Haus Bacmeister. Die Wohnung ist authentisch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und lässt keine Wünsche übrig (es gibt z.B. diverse Spiele, DVDs, Sportutensilien usw.). Auch die Lage bietet einen idealen Ausgangspunkt für diverse Outdoor-Aktivitäten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Familienausflug mit Kindern

Wir hatten wirklich eine tolle Zeit im Haus Bacmeister. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und wurde mit viel Liebe renoviert und eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist überdurchschnittlich, sogar Verbrauchsutensilien wie Gewürze, Mehl, Kaffeefilter usw. sind vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Kinder haben den riesigen Garten in vollen Zügen genossen. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Die Ferienwohnung befand sich in einem alten Bauernhaus (Parterre), ist schön neu eingerichtet wobei der ursprüngliche Charakter erhalten blieb. Der grosszügige Garten um das Haus war perfekt. Einziges Manko: Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, man hörte die Nachbarn in der oberen Wohnung deutlich, aber durch gute Kommunikation war das dann kein Problem. Rundum ein wunderschöner Ort, den man nur empfehlen kann :)

Für mich ist Menzenschwand der schönste Fleck im Schwarzwald. Und das Ferienhaus passt perfekt rein. Eine große, geschmackvolle Wohnung, eine toll eingerichtete Küche, absolute Stille, ein riesiger Garten, fast kein Mangel. Nur die Wlan Stärke ist ein Problem. Wenn das Haus voll ist und mehrere Jugendliche dabei sind, dann geht das Wlan in die Knie.

Tolle Sommerferien

Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen Sommerurlaub in Menzenschwand verbracht. Die Ferienwohnung bietet alles, was man benötigt. Der große Garten ist ideal: die Kinder haben Platz zum Spielen und durch die Bäume ist auch Schatten zum Verweilen vorhanden. Die Umgebung bietet vielfältige Möglichkeiten von Wandern über Schwimmen und Radtouren sowie vieles mehr.

Einfach nur schön

Ein super schönes und geschichtsträchtiges Haus! Wer sich im Schwarzwald abgeschieden von allem nach Ruhe und Erholung sehnt ist hier genau richtig. Der Garten ist mehr als groß, im Haus jedes Zimmer ganz individuell und mit Liebe hergerichtet. Uns war wichtig, ein historisches Haus mit modernem Bad und voll funktionsfähiger Küche zu haben und genau das haben wir bekommen. Auch bei Regen hatten wir im Haus zahlreiche Möglichkeiten uns zu beschäftigen, mit Spielen, Filmen oder dem Tischkicker. Durch die volle Ausstattung hat man sich wie zuhause gefühlt und nicht, wie in einem Ferienhaus. Nicht ein einziges Mal haben wir etwas vermisst, nicht mal in der Küche. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. "Schwierigkeiten" gab es nur am Anfang bei der Kommunikation. Wir wussten gar nicht wie das alles abläuft und mussten deshalb nachfragen. Ich hätte mir eine Mail mit Informationen gewünscht z.B. zum Checkin, aber als wir nachgefragt haben, haben wir immer schnell eine Antwort bekommen. Also gerne wieder!

Naturidylle und Schwarzwald pur

Alles in allem ein wirklich gelungener Aufenthalt. CheckIn hat problemlos funktioniert und auch die Sauberkeit sowie die Ausstattung in der Wohnung waren top. Man muss wissen dass es sich um ein gut 100 Jahre altes Haus mit Geschichte handelt bei dem in jedem Stockwerk eine Ferienwohnung ist. Das Haus ist wahnsinnig hellhörig, die Böden und Betten knarzen stark, was zur Folge hat dass man jeden Tritt der Besucher in der Ferienwohnung über einem hört. Wir sind davon nachts wach geworden. Aber wer einen guten Schlaf hat... :)

Super idyllisch für einen wunderschönen Familienurlaub

Eine tolle, geräumige und gemütliche Wohnung in einem gut 100 Jahre alten Bauernhaus - es ist wirklich alles, vorhanden, was man benötigt: Ausstattung der Wohnung und Küche aber Verbrauchs"materialien" wie Seife, Geschirrspülmittel, Küchenkrepp, Klopapier, Waschpulver, aber auch Gewürze, Salz, Mehl, Zucker, Kaffee....). Der Garten ist riesig und lädt Hund und Kind (und Eltern) zum Toben ein. In der näheren und weiteren Umgebung kann man wunderschöne Ausflüge machen - sogar solche, bei denen die Kinder, bspw. zum Rehe-Füttern, allein hinlaufen können. Einzig die Hellhörigkeit ist tatsächlich eine Einschränkung - es geht dann gut, wenn - wie bei uns - alle aufgrund der Kinder einen ähnlichen Rhythmus haben. Und somit kommen wir gerne wieder zum nächsten Familienurlaub.

Bis auf die Schlüssel Übergabe war alles in Ordnung. Schlüssel musste nach längerer Recherche vor Ort, bei einem Nachbar abgeholt werden.
