Atami is at the heart of Surf City, the Salvadorean government promoted prime tourist area. Safety is no problem at this property, located at the beach-side of the Atami complex, a gated community with 24-hr security. Within Atami, this is a prime location, being one of only 7 properties in the compound with direct access to La Leona beach (an access-restricted beach). Within 5-10 mins to high-end restaurants with seafood specialty and walking distance to gourmet restaurant within the compound. Only 40 mins from the airport without having to go through the capital, San Salvador. 10 mins to famous El Tunco, El Sunzal, and El Zonte, renowned world centers for surfing, and many high-end restaurants. 20 mins from the Port of La Libertad, the largest fishing port in the country, where freshly caught local sea products are available.
