Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I'm glad you recognized our responsiveness, the well-stocked kitchen, convenient location, parking, and family-friendly amenities. We genuinely strive to provide every guest with a great experience. I do wish these concerns had been brought to my attention during your stay. As you noted, we respond very quickly to our guests, and had we known about any of these issues, we would have immediately sent our cleaner, handyman, or HVAC technician to address them. Unfortunately, when concerns are only shared after checkout, we lose the opportunity to correct them and improve the guest's experience. A few points I'd like to clarify for future guests: Our condo is located in a tropical, coastal environment where humidity is naturally high, especially during the summer months. We work hard to keep the condo clean and comfortable, and regularly maintain the HVAC system to combat the effects of humidity. The outdoor shower area also stores complimentary beach and pool equipment that previous guests frequently use and occasionally leave behind. Many guests have appreciated having these items available so they don't have to purchase their own. Had we known the area needed attention before your arrival, we would have happily had it cleaned immediately. Several of the maintenance items you mentioned—including the toilet seat, closet doors, cookware, and other repairs—had not been reported previously. They will be inspected and addressed as needed. Our cookware is replaced regularly, but with hundreds of guests each year, items occasionally wear more quickly than expected. Our condo was built in the 1980s, and while we continually update and improve it, some characteristics of an older building remain. That said, everything should be functional, and when something isn't, we want to know about it right away so we can make it right. Regarding supplies, like most vacation rentals, we provide a starter supply of toiletries and household items rather than enough for an entire stay. This is outlined in our listing and guest information. Finally, the trash collection schedule is managed according to the HOA's pickup days. Guests receive reminders to place the bins out on the designated evening (Sunday). Unfortunately, if a previous guest misses pickup, we aren't local and cannot always correct it before the next arrival, though we do our best to remind every guest. We sincerely appreciate your feedback because it helps us continue improving the property. We also hope future guests will know that if anything isn't as expected during their stay, we encourage them to contact us immediately. As this reviewer mentioned, we are very responsive, and our goal is always to resolve issues as quickly as possible so every guest can fully enjoy their vacation.

Sorry about the unwanted guest, it is a tropical climate and we do all we can to keep them out, but it's not an easy task. If you stay with us again, please note we have fans in the closets for our guests to keep cool with if the air is not enough. Glad you still were able to enjoy it with your friends.

Thanks so much for your review. Our listing does not say we have two showers indoors, it does state one is an outdoor shower and we have only a 1/2 bath downstairs. I’m very sorry you felt otherwise and we will review this for for future guests. The dishwasher is fairly new so it sounds like it was damaged by a previous guest. Hi Cynthia, We did our best to help you each time you called us. With lots of storms and many trees the back deck is very difficult to keep perfect but we certainly try. Our doors also sometimes are victims of the wet and humid climate and can stick. We do not show we have curtains or blinds on our doors in our photos, our property backs up to woods and is very private. I’m happy to hear you still had a nice time. Sorry you felt our unit was not up to your expectations and thank you for the feedback about our furniture needing to be cleaned. We have that scheduled for as soon as we have a break in our calendar.
