Absolutely lovely villa. Ticks all the boxes. Quite remote so feels very private. But still feels close enough to Frigiliana and Nerja. Would definitely come back.

Very well maintained property, local south spanish style house and interior decoration. Lovely views over the valley and mountains. Solar heated swimming pool surrounded by a nice terras and garden. Very comfortable sun loungers. Covered area for all fresco dinning equipped with sink and large bbq. 15 min drive from the village of Competa. Ideal house for 4 persons if you like tranquility. We had a lovely 8 day stay mid September. Very good communication with the owners and their local representative via whatsapp.

The stay couldn't have been better for us. The location put us right in the middle of this beautiful white town's lifte. The home (yes, we felt very much at home) is so well designed and organized that it requires little daily attention, leaving us free to climb and explore the lovely streets of Frigiliana above us. We had time to investigate all the nooks and crannies of the town, never having to use a car. We were also able to go on day trips to check out the delights of Costa Del Sol. And, if we wanted to be lazy and do nothing but play games or read, the very large private outdoor area was perfect. We knew that Diana was always available to give us a hand if we needed something, We didn't want to leave and will hopefully be able to come back to Diana's property again soon.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this property and it is as described- stunning!! Very spacious, clean , modern and very well equipped. It is a short walk into Frigilana but it is a steep walk!! We hired a car from the airport but only used it for 2 trips to Lidl , the bus stop a 2 minute walk away, into Nerja for €1.20 per person was well used . We have had a lovely 2 weeks at the villa and will definitely be returning - it’s just perfect

If you've found your way to this listing, you're likely looking for a villa in the mountains of Andalucia and not a city or oceanfront hotel. You can't go wrong with any of those options, but for my husband and I and our teenage kids, this is as idyllic as it gets--both the location (up roads that curve high above the white villages) and the villa itself. We stayed here eight years ago, after our first visit to the area fifteen years before that. We have just come home from our third trip, a week in June (sunny days; high of 80s, a sweet warmth at night). Obviously it is a special place for us. There are dozens of rentals you can choose from, but we will keep coming back to Las Mañanitas as long as it's available. It is even lovelier than the pictures show. Plenty to do all around....you can take days trips to the beach or Granada/Sevilla/Ronda etc....or you can just stay in this beloved mountain home, hike, explore, and pop fifteen minutes down to Competa for tapas. Everything is immaculate: there's a pretty pool, two modest bedrooms, a charming kitchen & living area & sunroom, but what really makes this villa stand out is the attention to detail in its decor, especially outdoors: potted plants and trees, Moroccan lamps and silver trays, Spanish tiles and twinkling lights...sit in the hammock or in the sun looking out to sea or down some secretive steps to a tiny courtyard among the almond trees...The owners love their home and want to share it! We'll be back soon!

The house was beautiful, clean and spacious with everything we needed. The pool was convenient and clean. The property manager, Stig, was very helpful, even kindly helping us communicate in order to tow our car when we got a flat tire. We highly recommend this location.

The house Fuente Santa is just perfect if you are looking for a pretty and superb place, located in the pittoresque hills close to Frigiliana. The house is compact but facilitates you with everything you need. And it has much more to offer: its interior is spot on and really tastefully decorated, its has an amazing private pool with Bbq area and on top of that treats you with stunning view! To have your breakfast on the terrace overlooking the peaceful valley and the sea behind Nerja was just a priceless experience! We felt as if we simply landed in paradise! Both Carmen and Alfonso were great in communication and gave us so many tips and advise where to go and get around. While we stayed during Christmas and New Year, Carmen even left us some festive decoration. Also very kindly left us a bottle of Cava and the 12 grapes each, so we could really follow the spanish new years tradition at 12 o'clock. We will definately return to Fuenta Santa!
