Our weekend getaway was perfect, thanks to our stay at this cute apartment. Our host was super quick to respond and kept us informed of everything we needed to know. The decor was adorable and the location was the ideal spot to walk to everything you need. The town was quiet and friendly and a great place for a relaxing visit.
Great property, exactly as described. Clean, great communication with owner. The town is very nice with small shops, local artists and great proximity to State Park for hiking and Bugs Iland Brewery for entertainment.
Lovely apartment on the second floor in a Clarksville historical building. Spacious open plan with three comfy bedrooms. Well appointed kitchen dining area. The balcony porch rockers offer a shady afternoon respite after your day.The owners were very helpful and accommodating. This is a second floor apartment stair accessible only.
This was our second stay at this property and we thoroughly enjoyed it again! The property is clean, and the communication with the host was excellent. The people of Clarksville are so kind and welcoming. The location is great for lake activities, or exploring the area. We found some great local breweries and vinyards within reasonable distance and of course enjoyed Buggs Island Brewery for live music lakeside in the evenings. Highly recommend!!
Property was very nice. However, the air circulation was very poor. The bedrooms were hot and hard to get a good nights sleep. I would highly, highly recommend ceiling fans, and floor fans to keep the air moving on hot days.

Thank you for your review, Tracey! We have not received this feedback before, as guests have always found our new central AC system sufficient. We typically have the house on 74 between guests so we are sorry if it was warm when you arrived! We know that our thermostat can be a little tricky to operate so we include instructions in the welcome message so that guests are able to turn down the temperature if they prefer. Fortunately, we do have a ceiling fan in one of our bedrooms and a floor fan in the other, if needed.
We rented this for my daughter and new son in law for their wedding night. They commented that the apartment was very nice but the beds were very uncomfortable and recommended better pillows to start.
I took a last minute trip to visit a friend. We only needed a place to sleep for two nights. I'm the type of West Virginian who doesn't like to travel. Vacations are not a part of my life. My home is my paradise. I dreaded the drive and the accomodations more than anything. The drive was terrible; however, the accomodation has altered my ideas about travel. Each night after visiting my friends, I felt as though I was going home. This rental is more than a place to sleep. My wife, kids (4), and I all felt comfortable during our stay. Everything is old, charming, and well maintained. The check in process was simple. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The location is excellent. I have never been able to sleep in standard hotel/motel accomodations. I found great comfort and rest while staying in this apartment. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to stay in the Clarksville or surrounding area.
