VTA STVR #19146

To Note: Like most older homes in Midtown Ventura, this home does not have central air conditioning. Although it is not needed the majority of the year, there are a few weeks in the summer and early fall when the home can get warm. During the warmer months, there is a window AC unit in the master bedroom. Opening windows to bring in the ocean breeze while using the provided fans also helps cool the home.

My husband and I love sharing our sweet coastal town of Ventura with others. We live in town and are able to offer help when necessary. I work in education and my husband is a firefighter. When not working, we enjoy exploring new places with our children.

Why they chose this property

Ventura is an eclectic, somewhat undiscovered coastal town. From exploring downtown Ventura to surfing famous California breaks to bike-rides along the shore, this oceanside town has something for everyone!

What makes this property unique

The Yellow Door Bungalow is centralized to it all. This 1940 California bungalow was our first home and is our pride and joy. We have spent more than a decade pouring our love into this special home, doing our best to make thoughtful updates while preserving its original character. We love the way others fall in love with its unique and joyful feel.
