Renovated 1860s farmhouse – Hunting Lodge, sits on 160 acres of peaceful seclusion. Perfect if you’re hunting in Southwest Missouri/Southeast, Kansas. Rustic charm with sleeping for 11. Guys/girls weekend, Grandkids getaway, there’s room for everyone. This farmhouse has two full-size downstairs bedrooms, 7 XL twin beds upstairs, full kitchen, one full bathroom, dining areas, washer & dryer. We have the perfect bar area to eat, watch the game, watch the sunset, or just take in the views of this quiet country get away. There’s no traffic, you’re welcome to sit around the fire pit, picnic in the pecan grove, hike and explore but there are cattle in the pastures (just don’t leave the gates open). You might see bald eagles, deer, ducks and a plethora of small game running about. This is located in Vernon County, Missouri close to the Kansas State line.
You are only:
7 minutes by gravel to Emery’s Truckstop and restaurant. The BEST breakfast you can get seven days a week and steak on Friday & Saturday nights.
15 minutes to Nevada, Missouri- restaurants, Dollar General and Walmart, parks, Cottey College, vet and a Hospital.
20 minutes to Fort Scott, Kansas - restaurants, Walmart, the historic old fort, urgent care.

Piece of Heaven on earth
