About Bob

I own several homes in Seattle and chose this one as a Vacation Rental for it's unique combination of number of bedrooms and bathrooms and proximity to Downtown. It will be a wonderful place for reunion of family or friends, gathering of wedding groups, or professionals in town for a conference. The large kitchen, dining and living room are great for enjoying group dynamics and there is still plenty of room to spread out and get ready for a big night.

Bob purchased this house in 2005

Why Bob chose Seattle

Location, Location, Location....can't be beat if visiting Seattle. Close to Downtown, Greenlake, Lake Washington and the University of Washington but far enough away from the busy city or university scene.

Great for a crowd

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful heritage home! With 10 adults and 2 infants, we had lots of room to spread out. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean, with extras of everything. There were playpens for the babies (no cribs) but that worked out and a high chair too. The small yard was fenced for the dog. We had a caterer come cook dinner one night, and she said the kitchen was very well provisioned for that.

This is high on our list of VRBO houses! We had plenty of room for everyone and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend this house to anyone needing a place for a large group.

Thanksgiving 2016

  • 5 of 5

This was a return visit for our family at this property. We had wonderful experiences both times. The management couldn't have been more helpful in providing us with extra furniture, cookware and tableware to accommodate a holiday dinner for a large extended family. The common rooms are ample and flow into one another so that one always feels part of the action. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable (terrific mattresses) and nicely appointed. Our one concern was a sour smell that greeted us in the entry hallway - as though a cat had soiled the carpet. Based on the responsiveness of the management that we experienced during our stay, I feel certain they will take care of this as soon as they are aware of it.

Perfect for our weekend of wedding activities

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house. We had ten adults and two children. Everyone said their bed was comfortable. We loved having a fan in every bedroom. They had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We would stay here again with a large group. The location was perfect for our wedding venue--the Skansonia. It was easy and close to getting on and off I-5. Loved the front porch and long driveway. We had a broken coffee grinder and Nurri replaced it in 30 minutes Saturday morning. We enjoyed the coffee beans provided. We wish we could have stayed an extra day to take advantage of the bicycles provided. Lots of dishes and lots of silverware was appreciated. We hosted a breakfast for 20 people on Saturday and had enough of everything.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for the great review. I espcially loved the fact that these folks enjoyed the fresh locally roasted coffee beans provided. This house is a real crowd pleaser as it has such large bedrooms and so many bathrooms not to mention the convenience to I-5
