We really enjoyed this property. It was very clean and well thought out.The living room and kitchen and dining room are spacious and comfortable. The canal to the property is wide and deeper than most I've been in at Sargent. We had no problem at low tide getting in or out.There's no fish cleaning station, so be prepared, but the dock is great and the sitting area in the back is great.We did not try to fish in the canal, but there are lights on the dock.We will definitely be back to this property.

Awesome Property

We very much enjoyed our stay our stay at this property. Super cute and clean property right on a canal. Very peaceful and quiet area. We did some fishing off the dock and loved sitting on the patio to soak up the nice breeze and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. 10/10 would stay here again and again!!!!

We have stayed at the RV next door previously and had such a great time, we decided to rent this house this year for 4th of July and invited some friends of ours to join us. House is cute, plenty of room for 4 adults, and basic amenities are provided. Fans throughout the house help keep it cool. TV in the master bedroom does not have an antenna nor is it a smart TV, so it was just decorative for us. Downstairs was not a described: The area is not screened in nor air conditioned as listed. The downstairs restroom looks nothing like the photo on the listing - in fact, I would compare it to a public bathroom at a state park. There were bugs everywhere, the lighting was a strip light dangling above a washroom utility sink, and I won't even discuss the shower. Washing machine has seen better days and pauses randomly while processing the load, so it takes about double the time to wash unless you just sit there and watch it. The BBQ grill was disgusting and who knows the last time it was cleaned. On positive note, the fishing on the dock was phenomenal, as anticipated!! We would love to give this rental another chance if some upgrades get made before next year.

Family get away

Great place, loved the location, house had everything we needed , grill is what we used the most, My boys caught alot of fish off the dock. Small but tight lines. Water the small plant!! Small plant that has “water me “ written on it, my youngest, took it upon himself to water it every day.

Beautifully kept house

This house was so pretty. The views out the window were amazing. The pier had a light so we could go fishing at night. We didn’t catch anything but we had fun. The house was clean and cool. We hope to be back soon.

Quick Summer Getaway

My husband, daughter, and I spent the weekend at the Neptune property. It was very clean, and had all the conveniences of home. It was located in a cute little community in Sargent, Texas. We ate locally the first evening, then spent the next day in Galveston, which was only about an hour and a half away. That night, we fished off the dock at the house, and caught quite a few fish. Overall we were very satisfied and would recommend the Neptune for a family getaway!
