Owl Getaway perches on a mountain ridge, offering stunning vistas of treetops and beautiful songbirds of the forest. Make a cup of coffee just a few feet away from an amazing view. The chalet is a cozy, private hideaway tucked
into the hillside.
It is a quaint open floor plan with one full bathroom. All
linens and towels are provided for your stay, so pack
light -- or bring your winter gear and enjoy the ski
slopes at Whitetail Ski Resort!
There is a long, flat, private, paved driveway.
Owl Getaway is the perfect place for a relaxing evening roasting marshmallows under a blanket watching the majestic sunset..... Perfection!

Weekend Getaway

Booked this adorable cabin for just a night stay as we were passing through town! It was absolutely perfect! Comfortable and well stocked! The location is very beautiful!

Exactly as pictured...Totally adorable!!!

My daughter and I stayed here this past weekend. She turned 18 earlier in the month and just committed to a college finally so it was just a little getaway for us but the property is exactly as pictured. Totally adorable!!!! Everything is so clean, quiet and relaxing. No complaints from us whatsoever. We plan on returning for sure!

A private hideaway

We loved staying here with our pup! The privacy was just what we needed living in the Maryland state capital right outside our nations capital. The quiet and seclusion gave us time to think and our dog a place to be a dog. We hope to come back to the good vibes soon...

Cozy Nook

Beautiful place that was peaceful and your own. Had pretty much everything you would need during your stay. The location is truly unique with gorgeous views. Its off the beaten path and peaceful. Just be mindful if you visit with a CCW permit you'll be in MD in no time without warning. We loved our stay.

Most amazing cabin stay!

Super easy to find, very secluded and private. Beautiful location with amazing views, very pretty in the snow. Cabin was super warm and cozy with everything that we needed. The porch was the best part of the cabin, with lights for night time! Very close to the town of Hancock which had great restaurants and a super market and gas station close by. About 30 minutes to Whitetail ski resort which was awesome!

Weekend away

Cozy location with great views. All processes went smoothly.Turing the car around at the end of the long driveway was a little tough but not terrible - might be harder with a large car or truck.

Cozy, Relaxing, Perfect!

Such an amazing stay, the chalet itself is delightful with its views from the screened in porch and all the thoughtful touches to the cabin. Close to so many great shops, restaurants, and natural spaces! Cacapon State Park and the precious town of Berkeley Springs WV is a must see if you're staying at the Owl Chalet!

Thanksgiving in the woods

We spent our Thanksgiving weekend in this little cabin sleeping in, reading books, and watching Christmas movies. It was glorious! The close proximity to a grocery store (food lion) was excellent too! 10/10 would recommend.

Great stay!

My husband and I had such a nice, relaxing stay. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch listening to the wildlife. The bed was comfortable. The location is close to everything, yet tucked away and private.

Secluded piece of Heaven

This place is amazing. Sit on the deck and watch the sun set while wild turkeys scratch arounf for food. Two bald eagles flew around and went to the creek. You cannot help but relax!

Very relaxing

Giving this 10/10!! Booked as getaway with my husband and I loved it from the moment we arrived. It's nice and cozy, the rocking chairs on the porch makes it even better. Just sitting out there in quiet and listening to mother nature was so relaxing. It pretty much had everything you need and so beautiful inside. The bed was very comfy and it's spacious in the loft area. Very secluded

Relaxing Cabin

We very much enjoyed our stay in this little cabin. It was away from everyone, very quiet and peaceful, but still just a short drive to small towns with grocery stores and cafes. We would definitely stay here again!

Birthday Trip

We absolutely loved our stay at the Owl Chalet. The location was perfect and very private. I could not take my eyes off the mountain! We spent most of our time on the screened porch and enjoyed the rocking chairs. The beds were cozy and clean. We spotted a friendly red fox in the area. Overall 10/10 and would love to come back!

Gorgeous Little Hideaway

The property is lovely and tucked away so that you feel you are the only people in the world. The cabin is well stocked, and importantly for the summer, the air conditioner works well. We didn't want to leave.
