Great Place! Reasonable drive to Eugene

Great place for our extend family to stay while attending USTAF Junior nationals. Beautiful location and nice and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Paradise

We loved our stay. It’s a perfect holiday getaway. Hidden in the woods, a gem of a property. The hosts, Kelly & Hedge, were gracious & welcoming. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends!

Beautiful lakefront property

A beautiful place with friendly hosts. We had a few self induced hiccups in the beginning but once they got sorted out, everything seemed to go smoothly.

A little slice of heaven.

Our track team decided to stay at a VRBO instead of a hotel. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made. This place is absolutely, stunningly gorgeous. If you love nature, wonderous and mountainous landscapes nestled on a lake. This is the spot to be. It's location takes you away from everything, yet you can reach what you need in 20 minutes by car. I can't really say enough about this place, and it's hosts. Wonderful people, very accomodating, and never intrusive or encroaching on your space.

Beautiful property on the lakefront. Very comfortable and lots of little thoughtful touches such as snack tray and water in fridge. Very easy to work with property owner and felt very comfortable - i would have liked to spend more time relaxing at the house but we were quite busy. But the ability to take some time to go down to the lake and enjoy the amazing views was most welcome. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again

Dorena lake home

The location and layout were as described, but we experienced a persistent musty odor throughout our stay. The space had a strong, acrid smell that was only alleviated by opening the garage-style windows for fresh air. This made the stay uncomfortable at times. Others more sensitive to odors or with allergies might want to be aware of this.”

Please future guests. Read all the reviews from our wonderfull visitors. We have never had anything but rave reviews and this year have had multiple return visitors. Our ladt visitors sadly are our first who will not be welcome back. As you read the totality of reviews im sure our last guests remarks will explain more about them than this property.

Having to Leave After Only Three Nights was Too Soon

It is a very relaxing place to be with the view of Dorena Lake across the green lawn and through the tall trees. The inside accommodations are attractive; the kitchen provides all that you need if you prefer to prepare your own food. Outside is very well set up to grill food and dine under a roofed area with tables and chairs. All the makings for smores are available. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay!

Wedding

We rented it for the weekend for a small wedding for my son. It was absolutely beautiful inside and out. We had a bit of miscommunication ( my fault) but the host was gracious and very helpful. The wedding turned out perfect. Truly blessed to find a spot like this.

Lovely gem on the lake

This quiet, lush listing was off the beaten track but close enough to Cottage Grove or Eugene to get forgotten supplies. The floor-to-ceiling windows looked through a screen of firs over Dorena lake. Herons stalked the shore, or thrust themselves into the sky. The unit itself was well-equipped and the furnishing were quite comfortable. We hope to stay again.

Nice views, very clean

Alternate option to staying in Eugene for Oregon Ducks football game. About a 30 minute drive. Beautiful setting on the lake. However, we were not aware the property did not have cell service (Verizon). Once logged on to property wi-fi, text messages would come through, but we could not make calls. This would have been helpful to know beforehand. Otherwise property was very clean. Semi-private as there were people on the main floor of the house and we did get a mild noise level on the bottom floor.

Relax at the lake

This property was our choice for U of O graduation. It is 30 mins away from the university, but provided some time for a mini family reunion and relaxation. Host was very helpful and responsive - helped us with a firepit, wood, smores fixings- so very sweet. A bottle of wine was left for our arrival welcome. they went above and bey ond and brought in a kitchen island mobile space to facillitate the family dinner we hosted. thank you!! things to note: NO cell service in the area, till you get onto the house Wifi. Screen shot your directions, check in codes before you start the drive around the lake. There is only one bathroom - a fact that I didn't note until we got there. Loved the grounds, house level that is the rental and the beauty! highly recommend.
