Awesome renovated ski house for rent in great location! Please do NOT hit the Request to Book IF renting for something that does not include renting for an entire weekend. We will need to custom quote you over email for anything else as the site ONLY shows the correct rates for a weekly rental or one that includes the whole weekend (including holiday for long weekends like MLK, NYE, etc) as part of the rental. Promotions cannot be combined. 3rd night free promotion if for non holiday non special event weeks/weekends and must be asked about in initial inquiry and booked same initial day, pay by check for the discount, etc. so please inquire for details. Close to everything and walking distance to restaurants, bars, day spa, ski boot store, and breakfast house. Perfect location on Killington Rd, aka the 'Access Rd'. Right near The Woods Spa, The Pancake House Breakfast and coffee house, The Comfort Inn, Sure Foot ski boot shop, The Foundry Bar and Restaurant / skating pond, ski bus stops at house so you don't have to drive if you don't want to, tons of level parking, walking distance to hot night spots like Pickle Barrel and more restaurants like Sushi Oshi, The Garlic, etc.
3+ bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 12 comfortably up to 24* if couples. Location is perfect right on Killington Access road near The Pancake House and The Foundry Restaurant/bar. The Bus – the Killington shuttle bus stops at the house so once you're arrive at the house you don't have to drive (unlike other houses, also has plenty of parking and no hill to climb). House is renovated with stainless steel appliances, wine fridge, granite countertops, fireplace, game room (normally with a custom imported pool table, arcade game machine, foosball, dart board, etc.), big hot tub, tile, Pergo style hardwood floors, boot and glove dryer system, bathrooms have normal size Jacuzzi tubs, huge hot water heater (other houses run out of hot water fast), etc.
Beds are all larger Full size beds (just a few inches smaller than queen size so they sleep couples comfortably) in custom build bunk beds, 4 mattresses per bedroom, plus a pull out sofa in living room, futon in game room (beds are for sleeping, pullout sofa, sofas, and futon should not be used as beds, linens are not provided for them). Sectional sofa in living room seats 8+ and dining table seats 10-12.
Regular season summer rates 2010:
Fri and Sat - $875 each (2 night minimum)
Sun – Thurs - $475 each (with a 4 night min. if not added to 2 weekend nights)
Entire week - $3,000 - great discount
Winter Peak season rates 2010:
Winter non-holiday: $2699/2 nights (book today and get a 3rd non holiday weeknight for free when pay by check, etc. - inquire for details).
* 10% Vermont lodging tax not included, 50% due upon signing if booked more than 90 days in advance, $1,250 security deposit you will get back if there's no damage, cleaning needed, or other charges. Linens supplied as part of rental, $249 cleaning charge covers up to 1 hour of a light touch up clean and is added to rent. Email for current rates and specials. A SECURITY DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED, you must select that option even if you also want the insurance homeaway offers.
Typically takes the cleaners / staff a couple weeks to get us their check out reports, can take longer is they're swamped to catch up on paperwork of houses need extra cleaning, have damage, etc. Just depends on how things are left and how busy they are. If renters clean the house and get up to do a few loads of laundry and clean some to leave it nice usually takes the cleaners 5-7 hours to make it truly ready for the next group. If renters don't clean takes longer. Trash has to be separated from recyclables, laundry that's not done bagged properly, etc. A professional 3rd party cleaning company does the cleaning and they're meticulous to make sure our renters arrive to have a great first impression of the home. :) Please plan accordingly and pre-book/pre-pay for discounted cleaning rates in addition to the minimum charge we start with up front and the time needed for cleaning and budget for extra time to clean it as we don't include cleaning in our rent to keep it fair to everyone (those who clean well ahead of time get a smaller bill, those who don't get one for over the usual hours). We usually travel during the week for work and will try to cut back a deposit return the weekend after we get their reports when we're home. Keep it simple. :) We're also not a full time agency, just homeowners with other full time jobs who rent out the house out ourselves at a discount to keep charges down for everyone. This is a Non-smoking home, but with extra security deposit and cleaning charge a well-behaved dog (not allowed on furniture or beds) is welcome! All tenants must be over 25 years of age unless accompanied by parents. There’s an *owners unit that’s not included in this rental though it is available as a separate rental or at an additional cost for large groups in the range of # of people described above that the house can sleep, even increases the amount it could sleep as it would give you 22 beds, 2 hot tubs, etc. :)
Our standard lease must be signed and executed with 24 hours of booking (if not same day and prior to using house) with all payments processed and cleared before Tenants/Renters will be allowed on premises / in the house. Failure to do so will result in all monies paid by Tenant / Renter being forfeit as we cannot allow anyone to use the house without a lease and all payments clearing to protect ourselves and our tenants / renters. If you have questions on the lease please review it prior to booking as a request to book and booking through this site is final, there are no refunds as we're not a hotel that can quickly and easily rebook something etc.
Thank you and think snow! :) Though the house also makes a wonderful retreat in the summer if you're a golfer, road or mountain biker, etc. Fall leaf foliage season is gorgeous with fantastic views.
