However, we provide floor fans in every room, and opening the windows and sliding doors allows the ocean breeze to circulate throughout the home, helping keep it comfortable. We appreciate the feedback and would like to provide some additional context for future guests. Unfortunately, the HOA had coordinated building maintenance that was outside of our control. As soon as we became aware of the scheduled work, we notified the guest and offered two options: a full refund with assistance finding alternative accommodations, or a 50% discount on their entire stay if they preferred to keep their reservation. The guest chose to proceed with the reservation at the discounted rate. We understand that building maintenance can be disruptive, especially during a vacation, which is why we wanted to give the guest the flexibility to make the decision that worked best for them. We always strive to be transparent, proactive, and accommodating when unexpected circumstances arise, and we remain committed to providing a positive experience for our guests.

We also disclose that this unit does not have a designated outdoor table or lounging area on the boardwalk. Beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas are provided for guests to enjoy the beach. We appreciate the feedback regarding cosmetic items. Paint, doors, and other updates are being evaluated with the homeowners. Regarding communication, we did not receive concerns from this guest during the stay. Had anything been brought to our attention, we absolutely would have responded promptly and professionally. The listing states that parking is provided for one midsize vehicle. Additional vehicles may use free public street parking when available. Parking citations or restrictions in public or private areas are outside of our control. This is an older oceanfront Mission Beach property, and we work hard to represent its amenities, layout, and parking accurately so guests can make an informed decision before booking. For travelers prioritizing a true beachfront San Diego experience, the location is hard to beat.

We are happy to accommodate early check-ins or late checkouts whenever the calendar allows. Regarding the alarm, the issue was caused by a depleted battery, not a water leak, and the battery was replaced the following morning. Guests are also provided with a local contact number for after-hours emergencies. The upstairs sleeping areas, including the bunk room, are accurately represented in the listing. We provide bunk bed dimensions and disclosures before booking so guests can determine whether the space is appropriate for their group. As disclosed, the home does not have air conditioning. Floor fans are provided for each sleeping area, and the ocean breeze helps cool the home, particularly in the evenings. The living room sofa also converts into a pull-out bed, with additional linens provided. We appreciate guest feedback and address maintenance items as they arise.
