It was a great stay! Had everything we needed and the hosts were great and friendly! Only thing I would want is a little more privacy for the bathroom like a heavier curtain! It was great and close to the mountains!
Very cute, cozy cabin that accommodated our family of 4 nicely and an RV hookup for our parents. Enjoyed roasting hot dogs and watching the sun set around the fire pit. Jodi and Wes were very responsive and friendly. We had a great weekend!
The stay was perfect. Wish was refund for early check out

I apologize for any misunderstandings regarding our early check-out policy. If this was concerning to you, I wish you would have talked to me about it when you decided to check-out early. The reason we do not offer refunds for early check-out is because your stay was during hunting season. We have been booked pretty solid, back-to-back all of hunting season and had to turn away interested rental parties due to honoring a first come first serve basis. In the rental business in our remote area, this is our "bread and butter" season. If I could have filled the vacated days on short notice, I would have gladly issued you a refund. We pride ourselves on satisfied guests. If you would like to please reach out to me privately, I would gladly be willing to offer you a discounted refund. We don't want you to have hard feelings regarding your stay with us and would love to be able to host you again in the future. Please contact me. Thank you.
Loved the use of a kitchen and bathroom and shower in a cabin. Appreciated the cleanliness. Had a large patio area with campfire ring and picnic table that let you enjoy mountains sunsets and hanging out. The air is great in Montana. We enjoyed our stay.
The cabin was clean and very quiet. It was fun to stay at what looked like the original log cabin for the property. It was small but well organized. Our grandchildren enjoyed being able to play outside. It was also fun to drive past an entire herd of buffalo and see a bald eagle nest.
This little cabin is very rustic. What struck me is how quiet and serene the area was with the babbling creek just outside. My dog absolutely loved running range free on the expansive property. I had a hard time getting her to leave. The only feedback i have is the bed was too hard for my liking. Other than that, i would stay here again.
We were a little surprised to find the cabin right outside of the main house, but it didn’t appear that anyone was staying there, so it was no big deal. The host was excellent in communication, giving us tips for our trip & even offering to mail me a sock we left behind. Cabin gave us that camping feel while having electricity, running water & not having to set up a tent!
It took a couple of attempts to get ahold of the property manager, but once communication was established, all went like clockwork. The cabin was "cabin-like", as expected, but something small, like a rodent, must have died recently under the floorboards; there were literally hundreds of flies that came up through the windowsills , every day. Fly swatters were provided, but it was a bit much...

I apologize about the number of flies in the "rustic" cabin. It is not from any kind of dead or decaying rodents. It is because of the age of the cabin (historical wash house from the original homesteaders of Seybold Sheep Company) as well as the time of year (fall). We intend to have the buildings sprayed for flies, but as of right now the ability to afford this expense is not in the cards. Thank you for your understanding.
Absolutely gorgeour ranch (cattle, horses with buffalo near [very near]. Beds were comfortable heater worked just find. Little Sheep Creek runs right through the property. Bald eagles fly right over the cabin, The cattle lowing in the near distance. The host is a delight and very polite and accomodating. My wife, our dog and I had a wonderful time. You can't get a more rural yet beautiful spot with rustic yet comfortable accomodations. We will be back.
