Additional Perks of this property.
Residence is at the end of a paved road with plenty of privacy and wildlife viewing.
There are 2 fields behind this property for a total of 7.77 acres that you are welcome to explore.
There is a fresh water well in the front yard does have nice spring water with a well bucket and rope so you can experience what it used to be like to draw water from a well prior to indoor plumbing. Since the well cap doesn’t fit tightly there could be some slugs/bugs in the well water, so drinking is not recommended.
The road “Childers Ridge” that you drove in on is a nice place to take a walk but do be observant for the occasional traffic.
There are some grilling utensils on the porch in the wooden cabinet. Wood and seating for the fire pit is provided to help you enjoy the peaceful night sounds in the country..

Thank you for your business Dave. Also, thank you for taking time to give a review. I wish I had known that your rental experience was not a 10/10 during your stay I would have tried to correct or improve any issues. I still would appreciate further detail on what could have been improved upon during your stay to achieve a10/10.
Clean and tidy house. All the necessities and close to the train station - we were there for the polar express. We saw a few dogs and cats - all friendly.

5 Stars! Lovely home - exceptionally clean, very nicely furnished and supplied with everything you could possibly need plus so many “extras” generously provided by the host - toiletries, coffee, breakfast goodies, sweet treats, bottled water, info on places to see/things to do, and a whole lot more. Enjoyed the lovely setting from both the front and side nicely furnished porches. We’ll be back for sure - thanks, Vicki!

You both were great guest. If I could give you a 10 rating for cleanliness, politeness and how well you took care of the rental I would you deserve more than a 5 star rating. Hope to see you soon again!!
This house is the perfect location for a romantic getaway. We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay! The decor inside is gorgeous and the property is great for taking walks and enjoying the outdoors. The house was stocked with snacks, special gifts and lots of homey touches making this a wonderful home away from home. We give this property 5 stars!
