Great stay at the cottage! It was perfect for getting ready for our wedding down the road at Pen Ryn! Even our pup Daisy was there and could be part of everything.

WONDERFUL, CHARMING COTTAGE!

This was an excellent find! The cottage itself was super cute and very functional. We brought our dogs, too, which was a HUGE benefit to be able to have them with us! The location was great -- just a quick drive to the highway, but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very helpful, responsive, and accommodating. I would definitely give this place 5 stars!!

Grateful for a rental close to my parents home for an unplanned emergency visit. Tom was very communicative and the unit was orderly upon arrival. The property is in need of some updates and I shared them with Tom. He shared the interior of property is up for renovations in 2027. Particularly, the shower, as other reviews have mentioned, was in need of maintenance. We did not enjoy the mildew smell in the bathroom but luckily brought our own room sprays which helped cover the scent. There is also cracking at the base of the shower which appears to be water damage. In addition, there was construction happening the whole week around the property on two other buildings close to ours which made for early mornings with a lot of hammering and demolition. We were not informed in advance about this and I recommend to Tom that he inform guests of the constructions before they stay. Those sensitive to sound should also be aware that this rental is relatively close to a Helicopter Repair facility so there are daily loud helicopter noises most days and into the evenings as they fly up and down the river. In addition, the bedroom is under a chestnut tree and the hard fruits were falling loudly on our bedroom ceiling pretty much the whole week.All in all : probably a great spot for a quick overnight but I wouldn't recommend any one with sound sensitivities or allergies to mold/mildew do not stay here for longer periods of time.
