The house and property were gorgeous. We were very happy with the accommodations. We enjoyed our stay. However it was not up to standards for a property of that caliber in terms of cleanliness. The bunk room had sticky surfaces and dirty sheets on one bed. Other issues like towels and washcloths stained. Amenities were disappointing. Not all bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in showers. Basics in kitchen missing including ziplock bags, foil and similar items, and no ice. That being said, we would definitely stay there again, but would be a five star with more attention to detail.

We had such a great stay! The house was beautiful, comfy, and had everything we needed. Staying here with family made our celebration extra special The host was super helpful and made check-in a breeze. Definitely recommend!

Amazing and kind host and owner

This location was outstanding. Very roomy, furniture was comfortable beds were all perfect. The owner and the host went above and beyond making sure our stay was the best it could be. I highly recommend this location absolutely gorgeous!!!

Overall my family and I had a very pleasant stay. We had a small issue at first arriving to the property but the host took care of everything right away. I highly recommend this house the lake is stocked with bass and guarantee to catch something. Very fun getaway

Quick Wedding Trip

This property was perfect for our group to attend a wedding The house was beautiful and we enjoyed the back patio overlooking the pond. The next morning we had coffee and watched the geese fly into it. The details of the house were amazing.

Wedding stay

We really enjoyed the place. Only problem was outlets didn’t work in bunk bed room. Wished we could have had the dinner there without a huge extra fee. We truly enjoyed the house but it was too cold to enjoy the outside.

Thank you for staying with us and bringing the outlet issue to our attention, we will have it checked out. As communicated before, we are not setup to host 50 people events. We offered to accommodate with an additional fee, bearing the extra cost that we would've incurred. Sorry that it didn't work out for hosting your large event.

Beautiful home on a lake

We had a college reunion over the weekend. Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful and was clean and impeccable. The host was very prompt in answering all our questions. Everyone had a wonderful time. This is definitely 5 star rated.

Details, details, details

This property was one of the best I have ever stayed in. The attention to details, beauty, cleanliness & spacious housing made this one of my absolute favorite ever. We stayed here due to my daughter, getting married at The Grand Ivory in Leonard. I would highly recommend this for any family families coming from out of town for this reason. This house has the best hosting areas imaginable. Waking up and seeing the gorgeous sunrise over the back pond was a wonderful change for a city girl. Anyway, I wish I could’ve stayed a few more days to enjoy the peaceful country life in a beautiful house

Poor communication from host, poor amenities, property not maintained. Waited an hour for the host to give us the door code while the groceries melted in the car. No tv (just a mount) in the master bedroom. Kitchen had very few cooking items. No baking sheets and the pots/pans were old and abused. The ice maker/water on refrigerator didn't work. No disposal in the kitchen sink. Only having one bathroom on the main floor (other than the master) was challenging. There were no instructions on how to connect to WiFi or what to do with garbage. No check out instructions either. The only reason I gave two stars is because the property was so beautiful.

Lots of challenges

Very nice property but many challenges or issues. Upon check in, there was a dead animal outside the front door that we had to remove and there were crickets everywhere. They ended being all over…inside and out. The AC was not working and did not for the entire time. The host was very responsive and sent a tech out but the entire process was multiple hours and never was resolved so there was no AC for our stay and the home was very warm. There were broken items in the home and also there was no toilet paper to use the restroom. We had to go buy our own. There was a fire pit but no wood to use it with. There were other small issues but those were the main ones. At the end of the day, it was not the experience we were looking for.

Overall, the house was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay, but there were several maintenance and cleanliness issues that were disappointing given the price we paid.Some of the issues we experienced included:* No TV in the master bedroom.* The outdoor furniture was dirty and covered with spiders and mud dauber nests.* Half of the grill burners did not work, and the grill would not get hot enough to cook properly.* Several kitchen cabinet handles were loose or falling off.* Multiple kitchen knives were broken, and there was only one small sheet pan available for cooking.* The refrigerator’s ice maker and water dispenser were not working. The only drinking water available was from the tap and the three bottled waters provided, which was not sufficient for our group of 11 guests.* The floors appeared dirty and turned everyone’s feet black when walking barefoot.* There were stains on the master bedroom bedding.* The landscaping was overgrown around the property, especially near the front entrance.While none of these issues ruined our trip, they did affect our overall experience. The property looked much more polished in the listing photos than it did in person. For the nightly rate we paid, we expected a higher level of maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to detail. With some updates and better upkeep, this could be a great property.

Very beautiful property that met all our needs and then some. We were a group of 10 that stayed at the property for July 4th weekend and thouroughly enjoyed the entire place but the outside entertaining area over looking the lake was a highlight!Communication was fast with the owners and they were very accommodating. Highly recommend a stay here. Clean, well appointed, large gathering areas, comfortable beds and the kitchen was perfect.Great location.

Great stay

A little under stock with some items, for example in the kitchen. More detailed instructions on checkout would be helpful. Owner / manager of property is really nice, helpful, and easy to work with. Property is beautiful. Will stay again, for sure, if back in the area. Great value for the price.
