Spacious and in an excellent location. It was extremely hot when we stayed - temperature higher than normal - some fans would be a welcome addition. Montsoreau is a lovely place with good amenities and lots to see in the area. We visited Chinon, Cadre Noir, Saumur, Fontevraud Abbey and Bourgeuil. Would recommend the Chinon market! Very good Creperie along by the river

Great location

The beautiful street where the house is situated, the view of the Loire and the chateau, the fact that the shops and bars are only a 5 minute walk away, are all great! The house is 15th century, the decoration is modern and mostly it works. A few exceptions: the very loud industrial refrigerator, the beds in the livingroom serving as sofa. The garden could use some tender care; coarse grass, a loungechair would have been nice, the fact that a car was parked in the garden (?)... But...we did have a very nice week there!
