The space was exactly what we expected based off the listing. It was just what my partner and I needed during his two-week visit, with a fully equipped kitchen, an awesome TV, indoor and outdoor dining areas which were also great for getting work done, and a spacious bedroom. AC and heating were easy to figure out, just overall great accommodation. Our only complaints were that the floor felt a bit oily/sticky when walking barefoot and there was a wet dog smell when we first arrived. As pet lovers, we did love that it was pet-friendly (although we didn't have any pets staying with us) and after opening windows to air it out, the smell was fine. The sticky floor just felt like not enough care was put into cleaning the home, but everything else was in acceptable condition. Would definitely stay here again!
We were visiting Texas to attend my nieces graduation party. The home was quiet, clean and comfortable. Had all the amenities that one would need to eat in if desired, plenty of space to lounge on the couch, watch tv, cool down from the warm sunny Texas weather! We asked the host a question and they answered within minutes. It was a pleasant experience and would stay there again.
Start to finish, our 4 night stay was a wonderful experience. The best part was feeling like you were in the country without BEING in the country. Everything was so peaceful.
Things we absolutely loved:
* Great A/C's and lots of fans.
* Kitchen was well stocked with tools, which made cooking super easy.
* LOTS of storage in the closest.
* Best comfy pillows.
* My 6'7" husband loved the tall shower.
A couple of things to consider:
* If anyone in your party has mobility issues there is quite a distance from the parking space to the front door.
* If anyone in your party is over 5'10" this may not be your first choice for an extended stay. My husband is 6'7" about 300 lbs. The space between the sink and toilet is tight. The bed is also fairly close to the ground (about 24" or so).
* There is only a small refridgerator. If you are going to be cooking, plan on only buying what you need per meal.
All in all we enjoyed it and are planning to use this location when we go to visit family.
