Finally, we found out what was bothering our internet. All is good now. I probably cannot explain the issue well enough, but it had to do with the DUNS settings. Our next guest worked it out since he must be an IT guy.
Also, we did have a misunderstanding with our 6/24-30 guest. I assumed that they were the party that was not following the rental guidelines, but that was not the case. I apologize for speaking out of turn and I would like to strike out the sour rating that I gave them and replace with a very solid four stars. ****
thanks again.

A lovely simple cabin in an ideal location on the ocean just outside of St Andrew’s. Queen bed was very comfortable ( we did not use the twin bunk beds and a large deck overlooking the water. Unfortunately the house smelled so strongly of stale cigarette smoke as to make it hard to be inside. Had the windows open and a scented candle going most of the time but not much help. Would recommend only for smokers.
This cottage is close to St Andrews where we went whale watching with our kids. They were in heaven. Great place to stay. It was our first trip out east as a family. We relaxed on the back deck and enjoyed walking out in the bay when the tide was low. Our kids are talking about coming back next year.
We had a very enjoyable stay and loved exploring St. Andrews. The cabin is located in a peaceful and serene area with plenty of beautiful nature around. Thanks for having us!
We came here last year and instantly fell in love with the place. We loved it so much we came back this year for two weeks and will be coming back next year for two weeks. Quiet and peaceful.
Beautiful spot not far from st.Andrews which is a beautiful little town. The cottage was very clean and a nice set up with everything you need and some.We would definitely come back so relaxing.Bed was very comfy and we all slept so well.We were quite pleased.
This property was just what we needed. A lovely setting with just enough isolation but also close enough to St. Andrews to eat out or shop. The cottage was cozy and well equipped. The host was responsive when we had some initial glitches.
Stayed for 2 nights. Pros: location - amazing view, quiet, lots of places to walk, close to town; good supply of household goods (kitchen, bathroom and BBQ basics), large deck.
Cons: tricky to find if you rely on google maps; cleanliness - Could be much cleaner - table, floors, bedding.
We had a wonderful stay and we definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Location was perfect, minutes from Saint Andrews. Cottage was clean and had all the appropriate amenities. All communication with the the owner and property manager was quick and efficient. Our kids loved exploring the bay during low tide. It was overall a great experience!
Such a great stay. So relaxing and fun. The home is charming and the communication with the owner awesome. The beds are super comfy.
I had a fawn walk within 5 feet of me while I was on the deck!!! The Bay of Fundy tide that comes in and goes out so quickly always fascinates me.
There is a great place to walk for the views and outdoor exercise Great stay! Can't wait to return
As stated on listing. Beautiful views, wonderful walks when the tide was out, fantastic proximity from town. Shared constructive feedback with owner. Enjoyed the fire in the yard and the sounds of the forest and water were great!
We decided on a whim to head to St. Andrews New Brunswick with the kids. My husband found this tiny little gem in minutes and we booked with no hesitation. The check in process was so easy. The views and property are just perfect. The 4 minute drive to down town is one of the things I enjoyed the most. Overall I would recommend 10/10 this little ocean side getaway . Can’t wait to return again soon.
The kids didn’t want to leave and asked every day to come back next summer.
If you are looking for a place to unplug...this is it. So quiet and secluded but yet so close to resraurants, tourist attractions and downtown St. Andrews. It is clean and very thoughtfully set up. I would have preferred a more rocky shoreline than a squishy wet sand and if I had of known this I would have brought footwear that could have got wet and dirty.
Great location, but cleaning process needs attention
This rustic cottage was in a secluded and beautiful location. We were just a few miles from the center of Saint Andrews. The cabin had a well stocked kitchen with plenty of prep space. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the rental. We are quite familiar with VRBO properties and this is the first we had to clean before using. The toilet, shower liner, coffee pot, back deck, & indoor floor mat were all unacceptably dirty. The (non-electric) tea kettle had chips of metal in the bottom and was completely unusable. The dishwasher tended to leave dishes covered with some kind of debris. Perhaps the filter needed cleaning? We would stay in this property again if we could be convinced that the management was communicating well with the cleaning team.
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The view is amazing and it is fun walking around the beach area during low tide. The deck is perfect for having meals on or just relaxing and enjoying the view. We also had a lot of fun using the fire pit. The location is very convenient and just a short drive from St. Andrews. There is a Tim Hortons close by which we frequented as well. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
This was our fourth or fifth stay at this property. It is truly a peaceful gem of a place to relax and get away to. Bob, our host has always been most helpful and accommodating. We look forward a return sometime soon.
Second time renting same property beautiful view, walked a lot on the beach low tide.
