EXCELLENT HOME

This home is everything as described and much much more!!! Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for a family vacation!! The main house was large enough to fit 9 adults and 1 child comfortably as the home was very spacious inside and out! Can't say enough about the smaller home, it was just as nice as the main house with a bit more privacy! HUGE plus was the walk in shower for those that had difficulty stepping over a tub to shower!!! I give this house 10 stars and would definitely stay again!

A dream family vacation with two houses!!

Had such a wonderful time at this river house. Went on a family vacation with my family, my sisters family and my parents. My sisters family and mine stayed in the big house and our parents stayed in the little house. Having the two houses was an absolute dream. My parents were able to wake up early and go sit on the pier and enjoy the wildlife while the rest of us slept in a bit. We have kayaks and paddle boards delivered to the house and we went up and down the river and by far we were staying at the best location. Right across from the pier is solid wood where you look out at deer and birds and all kinds of wildlife. The entrance into the water was smooth and easy. There is a huge outside area that is fenced in and allows the family to spread out. House was clean and full of amenities. They thought of every detail to make sure your trip was amazing. I way overpacked thinking I would need all the little things but all the little things are there. Plenty of towels and blankets accessible. Cannot say enough about this place. We will definitely be back!!! Thankful for the easy communication with the owners and for their vision of a perfect vacation.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The neighborhood is quiet, the property is peaceful, and the house is comfy, well-stocked and perfect for family gatherings. Lots of great bird watching!A couple family members needed to work remotely during our stay. While there is not a dedicated space for remote work (like a small desk), the kitchen table worked well. We also noticed that the WiFi was not as strong in the guest house and therefore, was not really a suitable space for remote working. Something to be aware of if planning to work remotely during your stay. But this did not prevent us from having a wonderful time!Cathy and Robert were excellent hosts and very responsive! I would highly recommend staying here!
