About the host
Hosted by Alex & Tammy Fisher
We are Alex and Tammy, and we live on a working ranch in Montana surrounded by open space, horses, and quiet country views. We’ve spent much of our lives working with ranch horses and outdoor livestock operations in Montana and Alaska, and we enjoy the rhythm of ranch life and being outdoors.
We love sharing a piece of that lifestyle with guests who appreciate wide-open spaces, animals, and a slower pace. Hosting allows us to meet people from all over while offering a peaceful place to rest and experience a bit of real Montana ranch living.
Why they chose this property
Our ranch is set in a quiet rural area of Montana with wide-open views, rolling pasture, and big sky sunsets that stretch across the horizon. The landscape is peaceful and spacious, with horses grazing in the fields and very little traffic or noise—just the natural sounds of the country.
What we enjoy most is the stillness and simplicity of it all. Sunrises over the pastures, watching the horses move through the land, and the way the light changes across the mountains and fields throughout the day. It’s a place where you can slow down, breathe, and really take in the space around you.
Even though it feels private and tucked away, we’re still within a reasonable drive to nearby towns for supplies, dining, and exploring the local area.
What makes this property unique
What makes our property stand out is that it is a true working Montana ranch, not a staged or commercialized space. Guests are surrounded by real ranch life, including foundation Quarter Horses raised and handled with calm, consistent care.
The property offers wide-open space, privacy, and quiet views that are hard to find, along with the simple comfort of full RV hookups. It’s a place where guests can experience the land and animals in an authentic setting, while still having the essentials for a comfortable stay.
Most of all, we focus on creating a peaceful environment where guests can slow down, disconnect, and experience a genuine piece of Montana ranch living.
