Lakeside cottage, water access + pet friendly

Come experience one of the few pristine sandy beaches on Rayburn via a short 3 minute walk down to the water. (Neighborhood access) Enjoy morning coffee or evening wine on the generous sun deck among the trees. Our kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals along with complementary coffee. Outdoor grilling on the deck and a full washer/dryer are onsite. Several boat ramps and options to dine in are within a short drive. At the foot of our gated neighborhood, you can enjoy beautiful trails for hiking within Ebenezer Park. Towels and linens are provided along with basic pantry items such as cooking spices, oils, etc. The loft of the home provides ample games and activities for a rainy day. Some of the nation’s best fishing that Sam Rayburn Reservoir has to offer can be had right off the rock cliff point down by the water.

- WiFi is accessible via hotspot provided (no cable, you can stream services like Netflix, etc.).

-The water level of the lake will vary. Our swimming hole is clean and clear of grass/trees/debris but the sandy beach may not be as deep as shown at any given time. In the event that the water levels are extremely high, Ebenezer park is a short drive (or walk) for day pass access to their well maintained swim beach (April 1- Labor Day).

- Boats can be rented from Powell Park Marina. Umphrey Pavilion is the closest Public boat ramp. (6 miles)

- Max 3 Vehicles or 2 + watercraft trailer - there is limited parking. No cover.

- NO Atvs/Utvs/Dirt Bikes/Golf carts both in the neighborhood or on the trails. Trails are Army Corp of Engineer controlled and you will be ticketed.

- Please be advised that this rental is in the thick of the piney woods of East Texas. By nature, you understand that insects of many species are incredibly common here such as ticks, chiggers, mosquitoes, fire ants, etc. We do our best to eradicate/control our general area by use of residential pesticides but we cannot guarantee anything due to the nature of the natural habitat. We advise you bring insect repellent if you wish to explore the trails nearby.
