I have lived in the neighborhood for over 20 years and the views of the city are spectacular! The neighborhood is a quiet community and neighbors are very friendly. It is a very quiet neighborhood, with ample wildlife and is only about a 7 minute drive from all the cities amenities. (Depending on time of day, route taken and traffic). It is close to the North Shore stadiums, restaurants, museums, and fitness/biking trails.
I love walking the park and exploring the trails. The 259-acre Riverview Park is known for its dense woodlands and steep topography. It is nestled between Perrysville Avenue, Woods Run, and Marshall Avenue, park is known for its wooded trails and dramatically steep hillsides. The park’s extensive network of trails invites hikers, joggers, and the occasional horseback rider into the woods. The park is also home to the landmark Allegheny Observatory, a visitor’s center, a swimming pool and activities building, the natural beauty of the Mairdale watershed, and the popular two-mile Riverview Loop. In the summer you can enjoy the park's swimming pool, playground, ball field, shelters, summertime concerts and movies.

The house is a historic home and I wanted to keep the charm of the original design but incorporate some modern updates. The original lights add ambient light to the living room and I fell in love with the the warmth of the original fireplace tile design as soon as I saw it. The kitchen cupboards are spacious and I love the high ceilings. The backyard is spacious and the perfect place to relax in the summer. Up the street you will find a community park with a pickle ball court, jogging track, playground, basketball hoop, and a picnic area.
