The shabby apartment building was a tipoff. The access codes given were fake, so we couldn’t get in. There was no phone number we could call, and when we e-mailed these fraudsters the e-mail bounced back: address nonexistent. A rough lesson to learn after a long plane ride and hoping to attend an important professional conference. I had to book a far-off hotel for hours DS of dollars more.
