Missy’s unique stays

Welcome to this funky and eccentric property that sits on 72 acres of luscious farmland in the heart of Kentucky, situated along the bourbon trail .. Previously “Missy’s café ) now turned it into a country getaway for family, Friends or sweethearts .. it is set up for intimate events (extra) or just a nice quiet stay .. it has a beautiful view of the farm and surrounding knobs.. not to far away from civilization, but far enough too get away and enjoy nature
The space
It is an actual café that has been turned into a unique overnight stay and a great place to host gatherings and events .. it also remains a private flea market with things for guest to purchase . .. just let me know before checkout if interested in an item .. Makers Mark , Yellowstone and Log still distillery is all within 10 miles of this unique space .. Heaven hill and Willet distillery is also within close driving range .. (around 15-20 minutes)

The rolling fork also rolls around this property like a horseshoe.. So kayakers take note.. the get in and get out access points are both within 5 miles with easily accessible parking ..
located in the back of this property , you will find a beautiful deck , equipped with a grill, fire pit and a great view for birdwatching and much more
Guest access
Guest have access to pretty much the whole café, except commercial kitchen, waiting room and a storage room .. commercial kitchen may be used for parties for an additional charge .. there is a front porch to watch the sun go down , and a deck to watch the sun come up .. there is also a fire pit to enjoy, cows to see , birds to be watched , wildlife and every now and then watch my dad round up some cattle ..

I have a farm dog named Booger .. he is friendly, very friendly..

Such a fun place to stay!! So much to look at inside!! We came in at 11:30 pm so it was an adventure as we got the lights on. Everything was clean and comfortable. Host was easy to communicate with and quick to reply.

Maybe I read it wrong but to me the listing looked like you have this gorgeous pool right outside your door when in reality it is right outside the owner’s door a little ways down the driveway. Not a big deal but definitely not as private. It poured down rain while we were there which caused a few indoor leaks from the ceiling. Luckily my crew had a great attitude about it being an adventure they won’t forget! Lots of laughs & memories made. Missy couldn’t be any more accommodating & had stellar communication throughout the whole process. Very laid back & very welcoming. Beautiful countryside!

Had a great time. It’s definitely unique. The dog was very friendly. Probably better if you bring a few couples or large family. Although my fiancé and I enjoyed it so much.

This was such a unique stay!! The decor had such a fun, eclectic vibe to it and we could tell this location was - and continues to be - a space where so many good memories are made. The pictures just don't do it justice--there is sooo much to see! Most things inside this cafe turned flea market/rental are for sale. I picked up a book the owner Missy wrote and was literally laughing out loud at the humor written on the pages. This was her 2nd book, so naturally I had to search for her first on Amazon! It was very apparent that the author and owner of the rental has a fun and friendly disposition. There was also lot of room for us to relax. The patio area out back was serene and peaceful with a gorgeous view. Bonus points for the creative artwork painted on the side of the building and for the beautiful landscaping! This place is a must-see if you're looking for something fun and quite a bit different!

Best stay yet

Our family takes many trips and this by far was their absolute favorite. We have kids that range from 4yr-18yr and they all enjoyed the property. It is beautiful and peacful. Missy was so helpful and always fast to be of assistance. She went above and beyond. The cafe was really cool and had lots to look at. The beds were extremely comfortable. We had no need to go anywhere else on our stay. The kids were glued to the pool.and had a blast. We can't say enough about our stay and hope to return again.

Anniversary get-away

This was an amazing experience! Arrived late and the lights were on for us. There is SO much to see here! If you enjoy eclectic this is a must go. No matter how many times we looked around we still didn't see everything. The country side is beautiful and there is a beautiful, sweet dog named Booger to greet you each morning when you leave. Planning another trip next year, absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic and Creative Gathering Venue!

Family stayed (women in 30's, 40's, and 50's) and unique diner-turned-inn caught all of our fancy. Decor is creative and artistic. To explore property is a trip activity on its own. The views out back and outdoor sections designed for social gathering and are magical with lighting at night. My group went yo nearby concert and this overnight experience sealed the whole event as so fun. The games and books provided (and fun spaces to play) just made entire stay memorable and nostalgic. Beds extremely comfortable to top it all off!

Bardstown All-Star Weekend

I needed at least room to sleep 8-10. Only 4 ended up staying, but the capacity was available. We were very surprised that it was actually a family diner, transformed into a cute living quarters. I would love to bring my wife back, and 3 dogs. I wanted to lay down with Booger, but there is a note that says "no dogs on bed." Would love to come back, if Missy's will allow....

We had a wonderful time!! It was interesting, fun and different all while being homey and comfortable! The kids had a blast swimming in the pool and the property is beautiful. Would definitely come back!

The description was accurate in that is was definitely unique. While strange, it had the basic needs for a stay. The pool, however, was not on the property - it was located at the owner's house next door, which we felt awkward to use (but did so anyway and it was nice).Our biggest hang-up was kitchen facilities. Considering that it was a restaurant with a commercial kitchen, we were disappointed that we were not allowed to use it. We were provided with a full variety of small appliances, though no oven and you could only use one appliance at a time (they all plugged into same outlet). This made cooking a bit challenging and not that fun. Use of the commercial kitchen would have made it a more positive experience for us.
