Booked this as a last minute need for an extra sleeping area over the 4th of July and was very happy with the cabin. Has everything you need once you get off the lake. Would rent again if we need the space again.

Nice, quiet cabin in the woods. We enjoyed the location and closeness to the boat launch facility. The outlets for charging boat batteries were definitely a plus.
Had a great time. Very nice cabin and people were very kind and helpful. Thanks
Would do again for sure

Great size for 2 people. We were out and about most of the time but enjoyed the back deck in the morning and evenings.

AWESOME location, very clean, it had everything we needed. We will be going back and staying there.
We were located right in the middle of the beautiful mountains. Close enough to get to the lake in just a few minutes. So quiet and serene. Cabin was very clean and the right amount of space we needed.

The cabin is in good condition. Works for 1 or 2 people. A/C works great! But, bathroom is crazy small! To wash hands, my shoulders hit the walls. You have to come all the way in to close the bathroom door and turn on the light. Also, there is no real way to use the dining table, maybe if you pull the table out, then push it back. We just ate on the couch. It worked fine for 2 of us to visit family close by.
The place was clean, but the cabin floor leans downhill. The 3rd porch step is loose and the lock box is a nightmare to deal with. We never found the Wi-Fi password because the instructions on the fridge were not accurate. Overall, it was way too pricey imo.

Nice little cabin
I stayed at this cabin at last minute to check out Dale Hollow Lake for a future fishing trip and to look at homes to buy. It is a very nice, little cabin. I'm a straight-shooter and have stayed at many cabins at various lakes though-out the US. If you don't need a lot of room this place is very nice. It has everything you need for cooking, satellite TV, a very nice covered back deck and a nice covered front porch. Although, it does have two beds I would not recommend more than two people for this cabin. Its a great place for a couple or two buddies on a fishing trip.
It does not have Wi-Fi and I could not get a cell signal for calls although I could text which the owners made me aware of prior to booking so it was no surprise. The owners are very friendly and appear to be genuinely concerned that you have a pleasant stay. The price is more than reasonable. Its maybe a 10 minute drive to Eagles Cove Marina where I could receive a cell signal for calls and launch my boat. Its really not far away, just kind of a windy road. Maybe 2-3 miles from the cabin. The cabin is on a dead-end road so there is very little traffic. I may have seen 3 or 4 vehicles go down the road during my stay.
In conclusion, for two people and for the price this place is great. Adding Wi-Fi would be a bonus, other than that I'd certainly stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this tiny cabin, it was myself and 2 children, you wouldn’t be able to fit more as it is a very tight living space. It is secluded but well lit at night with a couple cabins also nearby. My son had an accident overnight, I pulled all bed linens and cleaned the area and put down a towel from where I cleaned it so it was wet. I followed the list of instructions available in the cabin to a T, the only thing I didn’t do was have the housekeeper pick up the soiled sheets, although the owner was aware they were there and soiled. I bagged those separately, made sure all the other dirty laundry was in a pile per the owners instructions on the list and the rest of the cabin was exactly as it was upon arrival. Then I received a rude text from the owner hours after check out complaining about the linen left on beds and piled on the floor when her list states to leave dirty linen in a pile and nothing about stripping the beds. I promptly responded explaining that I followed her list’s instructions to a T, but it appeared she had blocked me? Very adult like. She ran up a toaster one day because I was unable to locate one, which I thought was great, but then also included a snarky comment in that text message about how the toaster was in so and so cabinet, which took from her doing it to begin with, because that’s great you could find it knowing the cabin, regardless I could not find it searching for an hour. So no need to mention it, again very adult like. Otherwise we enjoyed the cabin itself.
We had an amazing time. Property was as listed and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Seen lots deer at the pear tree. If you take a short walk around the corner you get a nice view of the lake

Thank you! We hope that you will consider us again for a future visit to DHL :)
We wouldn’t hesitate to go back to the cabin to stay danny went fishing everyday. And after lunch we would go to a designated area to swim and cool off.
My friend and I have been working from home a lot recently and decided that a better place to work would be from someone else's home - preferably one far away from ours and closer to outdoor activities. This place happened to be available and looked just right for our criteria.
We had never been to the area before, so we did a lot of checking internet maps to get our plan together. It's a little more rural than we were used to, but everything you might need is not far off. It's especially close to a few very nice marinas where you can rent boats - or, if you're a nautical nightmare like the two of us you can just rent kayaks.
The back deck is by far my favorite part of the cabin. I could drag my laptop out to the table there and do all the work. Being able to work while enjoying the pleasant weather and the fun wildlife in the woods made my responses to annoying emails at least 73% less sassy.
The property owners were so kind and thoughtful. We had a car battery issue on our last night and they were quick to offer assistance. Fortunately it turned out to be fine the next morning for our trip home, but we definitely worried less because they were so genuinely nice about being available if we needed them. It was the perfect little bow on top of the gift of our time there.
Easy check in and great accommodations for a short get away. Bathroom is a little small but works. Will use this cabin again for sure.

I am sorry that we couldn’t honor your last minute request for an early checkout. As I explained, less than a day does not allow us to rebook the cabin on the site or for last minute, unscheduled cleaning. We try and take all of our guests requests into consideration and treat everyone with the respect and kindness that we would want to receive if we were in their shoes. We take all of our reviews very seriously. We have all of our properties treated by pest control quarterly as a preventative and have NEVER had a problem or complaint about roaches or the condition of the cabin.
Property was as described. Great communication from the owners. Nicely decorated and comfortable beds. Meet our needs for the couple days we were fishing.
