Hill House is just 5 minutes from the town of Benton, 10 minutes from Rend Lake, 30 minutes from a more urban area and one hour from the Wine Trails. Spend your days on the lake, going on a winery tour, or exploring the area and your evenings on the porch enjoying the firepit! In addition, Hill House has a covered barn that will hold two boats with electricity to charge batteries!

We had a group of 4 down for a long weekend of fishing at Rend Lake. These accommodations are perfect for this as there is plenty of room for 2 boats and trucks to park. You are close to a lot of attractions that southern IL has to offer.

We were just overnighting on a road trip but would be happy to stay for longer. The house was immaculate, very large and well equipped. Host was flexible and very responsive. Lovely setting out of town on a quiet property. Thanks for the great stay, highly recommend!

Great country settling, relaxing. Plenty of room for a family or small group. Well stocked with pot, pans, plates and utensils. The weather was great when we were there and we spent most of our time in the carport playing cards or rocking in the rocking chairs. Worked out great for us!

We absolutely loved this place!!! It was like home away from home. Lots of room to spread out, comfortable beds with lots of pillows and blankets, well equipped with all the extras you could think of and more, beautiful setting with lots of shade trees and a covered patio area that was our favorite place to gather (the dogs loved it, too)!!
